You know.. for all our complaining, I just remembered it could be worse. I had 300k doge stuck on Coins-E for 10 days, and received no communication from them at all until they finally fixed it.

Yes, All mine was stuck during the same period. BUT that was not during a Huge run.

Crypsty was hedging with out coins and got caught with their pants down and is now taking it up the ass. Cheesy

AND put that warning in your siggy!

Help the newbs so they don't get screwed like we did.

Nice. My best trade was buy at 198 and sold at 235 satoshi. I lost the profit later though. I wont take part in the daytrading anyway. Im just waiting for a good buying opportunity to sell my last 0.45 bitcoins for doge. Then i will hold for a long time Smiley

I have a curiosity for ya!

In Poland, from 1960 to 1990 we had cryptocurrency!

It was "Pewex Dollar" and it was official currency in Pewex (national network of stores, only one network existed, because comunism).
So if you wanted to buy for example new pair of jeans, TV or some toys for children, you had to go to Pewex store, buy this Pewex Dollar, and then go shoppin'. Prices were (probably) held at the level of prices on west, but that was just illusion, and Pewex Dollar never  been as valuable as US Dollar. PLN (Polish Zloty) couldn't be exchanged for goods in these stores and you weren't able to buy Pewex Dollars by PLN. You had to have other currency, such as US Dollar, Frank or anything.

That update is only for windows. If you're using Mac, then its just on 1.4.
I've had an issue like that. It takes some time to go through. Now my latest transactions show as having been broadcast through 1 node with 0 confirmations, but they have arrived in the recipients address safely...

Hey everyone. Take a look BTC price action from the past 2 months, and compare to DOGE from the past day. Very similar look at the macroscopic view. DOGE may give us good clues as to where BTC is heading over the next 1-2 months. DOGE is awesome once again.

Hi,

My dogecoin wallet keeps syncing... what should I do?

Mac? Linux? Windows?
Turn off QT
On Windows - go to data folder (ex. C:/Users/MiMiMiner/AppData/Roaming/DogeCoin)

Copy wallet.dat into safe place.

Delete:
blk001.dat
blkindex.dat
Run QT
If not work, turn off QT, delete everything EXCEPT wallet.dat

Run QT

Should work

Great story, thanks for sharing.
However I do not believe that Pewex can be categorized as cryptocurrency.
Cryptocurrency rely on a decentralized "prof-of-work" by a encryption hash algorithm, which is not the case with Pewex.

Cryptography is one of the few things you can truly trust.
