I disagree : community is what made doge go "viral", viral made big investors come in etc...

Community brings ideas to the table, crazy bobsled funding that lead to more appearances on mainstream medias, and therefore more people to join the community, and so goes on.

The price of doge is an other story, I don't know where it's going and how far it can go in a way or the other, but as far I know, the doge community is the thing that connected "the real world" to cryptos.

Without all those silly shibes laughing because of a meme, this coin wouldn't have survived a single week.

Doge went from 280 to 95,
going down in unison, 3 times cheaper now from their peaks, so same logic applies to both - people kept saying bitcoin is a great buy at $800, then at $600, $500. The difference is DOGE is way more undervalued, and hence a bargain. Both Bitcoin and Doge could go down more, but that's fine, catching the exact bottom is tricky. What's more attractive in Doge is its upside potential. However, 10 cents per 1000 doge means Bitcoin will be $100. You think it's feasible? I don't think so. 30 cents, $300 for bitcoin is still possible. 10 cents, $100 for bitcoin means cryptos are dead, never to recover again, and going to zero.

Correct, and that's why it's a bargain now, as it can't get any significantly cheaper, because just a few people would scoop up the entire supply pretty quickly. There is already a violent battle for cheap coins right now at the exchanges.

On the bright side, when crypto currencies in general are out of the woods in a couple of months, Doge has a potential to rise just as fast as it fell comparative to bitcoin, because you can buy a lot of Doges for a few bucks. Don't underestimate the power of bulls also
