I have a few hundreds of EmerCoins. Anyone interested to buy them? I accept Bitcoin or Darkcoin

250 000 EMC for 1 BTC, oк?

Remember that Bitcoin is still beta software. Don't put all of your money into BTC!

Fused NMC! The new version will be available in the following command :

name_new <key> <value> - creates a transaction in which the encoded data of the user in the form of key-> value pairs . The maximum length of lines: 255 and 1023 for the key value .
name_update <key> <value> [address] - updates the value and / or owner for the key held by the user .
Also has commands for viewing key_value pairs :
name_list - displays all key-> value, which belong to you .
name_scan [<start-name>] [<max-returned>] - scans for key-> value pairs in the chain.
GUI - yet. Although it is possible through the console GUI client to use them.

Now there are tests - want to do without hardfork. But it seems it is indispensable.

Why NMC? Does Emercoin have plans for an alternative .bit domain?? .emc? It would be nice if we could know your plans, Fixx.

---

It's great to see the dev working on this coin, and I like that it's not an over-hyped scrypt clone. Although I do not think the dev is interested in getting EMC on exchange himself, there is still 100,000 EMC bounty for first exchange offered on the forum.

We have an interesting idea, but let it be intrigue Smiley

In addition:

We started to develop a Service for redeeming EMC for USD via PayPal

Briefly seen such a system:

Customer shall enter the e-mail associated with PayPal, the service sends him EMC-address.

The client send an coin. To own PayPal receives payment.

Service tenet: creating the lower limit of the price band, below which fall EMC can not in principle.

Nice. I know people will prefer an exchange in future, but this service would be a good price guarantee, under which the value can't fall.

Disappointing news.

We have created an automated system, but PayPal officially denied us in collaboration:

Mon, 05/19/2014 - 13:57

Hello,

Thank you for your submission. Unfortunately PayPal does not currently support virtual currencies of this nature and therefore as a result we cannot approve your application for live usage at this time. I have no choice but to decline your application.

Regards,
Daragh.

Thus we can not use API PayPal for our purposes.

Disappointing news.

Disappointing but perhaps expected from Paypal. I hope you can decide an alternative.

Why not consider EMC -> BTC ? (one directon, based on the daily BTC value).

This would serve a similar purpose, and allow conversion of BTC -> USD/EUR/etc at the users chosen location.

And no reliance on 3rd parties.

I do not want contact with BTC. And to become like other forks attached to Bitcoin. I believe, EmerCoin need to exchange for most liquid currency - USD

Found a solution.

exchange will be semiautomatic.

During the day, the exchanger will collect coins and addresses, and one hour to send to the address on PayPal funds

So, as almost everything is ready, it remains a bit of code change. A couple of days will already!

PayPal will close your account and steal all your funds on it if they find out you traded for cryptocurrencies. it happend enough times in the past.

Why?
It does not prohibit transfer to different accounts my money?

I will not say that this is due to the purchase of EMC. Only an escrow account with the person № xxx

PayPal generally doesn't like Bitcoin (it's their competitor.) While they're 'banning' Bitcoin, I am sure PayPal very carefully considers what they will do with Bitcoin (and other cryptocurrencies). But currently they do freeze accounts who use PP in bitcoin<->fiat trades.

Funny situation because eBay owns Paypal, and eBay has started to allow sales of crypto in some ways, even opening a "virtual currency" category on some eBay sites. My guess is they will eventually allow it when they feel it is safe for their customers. There are probably some better informed threads and better places on this forum to discuss this. But I think it's great for Fixx to try it. Even if it fails, it's good to try.

I personally think BTC is a better trading partner with Emercoin.. but whatever. Fixx says "I do not want contact with BTC". I still do not understand why Smiley

If they allow ebay selling of "virtual currency" they make a nice profit with it.
If they allow cryptocoins/paypal, paypal would sooner or later get useless.

no wonder they only allow it on ebay Wink
