Although I understand the reasoning, the 500+ confirmation for deposits on the exchange is kind of a bother  It's down under 300 now. And that's like 7-8 minutes. It's currently 252 confirmations, there are roughly 200 blocks / 30minutes, so ~37.5minutes. I guess it's not unreasonable, but sucks to miss out on a big rally heh. Anywho, people are odd, I can't predict the future but currently I0Coin is far more profitable than bitcoin, IXCoin far less, yet people still seem to think differently. We'll see where each goes I guess. |

Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

1024... i think. Hmm, isn't there a 4x maximum increase? If there is, after 5-6000 blocks I think it can be between 64 and 256... |

Of course, this assumes the hash rate stays so high that the rate is going to jump by the maximum 4x every 2,016 blocks. As we get to 262,144, that may not be true. |

At this rate i've earned about as much for my time as a nike factory worker earns in a week. Its improving slightly.. at this rate i'll have a total of 100 coins soon though. I called my friend last night to tell him about this and he told me he had sold his BTC for $7 and he thought they were still falling. Man if I had of known he was selling I would have bought his BTC... would have come in really handy around these times. |

Well whats your secret? Maybe my latency is screwed. My landline died a week ago and they fixed it but I'm getting ~22ms between me and my ISP I guess that's not helping. |
