I do not recommend using an online wallet. You need to have a private key, online wallets do not give you a private key. For this reason, you can not take advantage of some opportunities. For full security we strongly recommend you get a hardware wallet.

There's nothing bad in using hardware wallets but you have to choose that fits you well and this ain't gonna do well if something wrong happens to that online wallet. I don't use any exchange wallet, you don't have fully control to your wallet. Though it will cost you some money in using hardware wallet, I also recommend to use it. I don't own other hardware wallets except ledger wallet. You can also suggest that they can use these  desktop wallets that you can control the private key.

recently i still save all my asset in the online wallet, and other some in the exchanger, i really want to move on hardware wallet but that thing is quite small, it become a trouble for me.
I am accustomed to access the wallet with smartphone or laptop, more flexible and easy, the problem is when we need to send to the exchanger or buy online but we forget to bring the wallet

We recommend hardware wallets like ledgers and trezors. Since all coins can't be stored on those, look into making paper wallets. Use walletgenerator.net.

Here are the steps:

Download the GitHub file to a brand new USB
Use raspberry pi with new linux os (no wifi or bluetooth capability)
Generate your keys
Print the keys with a wired printer
Send crypto to the deposit address

If you want it even more secure, put your private keys behind an individually serialized tamper resistant sticker. We sell coins that help with all of this if you want to learn more.

https://realcrypto.org/product/bitcoin-holographic-coin/

If you don't want to use a raspberry pi, you can use your computer offline. Just be sure to clear your printers memory and fully delete the files from your computer when you're finished and before you reconnect to the internet. It's not as safe as above but still a better practice than what the majority of people use.

Its important to understand that one of the safest way to stay safe is to keep away from unsolicited and unwanted sites usually coming in as spam or even unsolicited mails.  Do not click on or visit any site of unknown and unsolicited origin. Keep safe from sites that promise bogus profits or deal in business that cannot be verified or traced om the ground.
Only carry out financial transactions in a safe and secure environments. lastly, make sure you use alphanumeric passwords for your wallets that are different from your social media sites and nothing close to what anyone may guess like your birthday dates or anniversary.
Keep safe.

I am a great fan of offline wallets and thus I use the paper wallet generated in a secure environment to use it as a cold storage and then I hold my funds in Trezor hardware wallet as I find it convenient and flexible as compared to that of paper wallet. I use web wallets too but never keep more than 5% of overall funds as even if we are taking all the security precautions to keep it safe, we never know what the security level on the server side and hence offline wallets are best in my honest opinion.

Just use Trezor or Ledger and you will be safe

Yes I agree with you, Every Trezor has a pin code. If your Trezor device is stolen by someone, that person will not be able to use it to access and steal your money. With Trezor, even if the computer you are using is hacked, the hackers will still not be able to get your pin code.

Just use a TREZOR man trust me. If you used a TREZOR to sign into myetherwallet during the attack a couple weeks back your coins would be unharmed. Enough said

If you do not want to keep Bitcoins on your wallets online, then you can use a wallet to secure your bitcoin. I do not encourage you to keep bitcoins on Exchange because it is not secure because these Exchange is always attacked by hackers, although their security is also very good. Bitcoin is so valuable so I think keeping your money safe is very important.

Do not  save your password when being ask to access one site you have visit because that is the way how the hacker enter your account and avoid to open spam messages that sends to you. Use 2Factor authenticator on your wallets for more security. I put my profit in the banks which I know more safer because lot of bitcoin in online wallet is hot in the eye of the hacker.

Honestly, i save my passwors here in my browser to avoid frequent log ins because it is tiring somehow. Is it the same for no. 1.3?  If so then I'm not even bothered with that because I only do it here in my smartphone and I always make sure tha no one uses this aside from me (even my own girlfriend).

Do not click on links sent in emails.

Google ads had "poison ads" sent by hackers which resulted in $50,000,000 theft. Be careful of google advertisements

The safest method in my opinion  would be to put your BTC in a paper wallet and keep in a safe box. But it depends on your investment strategy. If you are long term investor then storing your BTC as above would be ideal. But if you are a short term investor rather than keeping the BTC in a paper wallet, a hardware wallet like the Ledger S Nano would best fit your needs. Any ways don't take my word for it! Do you own research and come up with the best way that satisfies your needs and expectations. All the best!
