If you want to secure your cryptocurrency then here are few tips to keep your assets safe.

1. Securing a Wallet is similar to securing your personal data on the computer. You have to be aware of links, advertisement, any type of attachment etc. which appears when a browser is being suffered.

2. Always create backups of your cryptocurrency wallets. So, that it will let you restore your wallet if in case your laptop or cell phone gets stolen.

3. Opening an account to buy cryptocurrency? Set up a unique E-mail id that you’re going to use for that account and never share that id with anyone.

4. Encrypt your whole device in which you are going to use cryptocurrency wallet. Make sure you have the best anti-virus installed on your device and keep it up to date including anti-malware and anti-ransomware.

5. Set up a really hard and long password where it is only able to recover from a piece of paper that you control.

In order to be safe from being hacked, we must to secure our private key, we must keep it within us like if you are good in memory you can memorize it,  or put it in a piece of paper and keep it to the safest place where you’re the only one who knows, or create your own wallet and store the private key -offline-.

It still looks funny to me that users don't know that bitcoin wallets can be vulnerable and that they need to protect it. And those new members must be alerted for them.Because they can't understand them cause of any step Btc maybe hack.So everyone is warned repeatedly.

maybe they need to learn more about protecting their bitcoin in their wallet so they don't have to worry about the hacker. I am sure that if we can protect our wallet, the chance to get stolen is small and we can use the bitcoin we have with save. I think this is happening to me too in the past when I was a new person which know bitcoin, I only know how to save and send the amount of bitcoin to my wallet without knowing how to protect but soon, after I read another tutorial, I know that I must protect my wallet so I can save my bitcoin.

Bitcoin wallets can be vulnerable and that's what we need to protect it but in reality many bitcoin users are actualy easy targets so there is a lot of space to promote security and to educate users of cryptocurrencies.Hackers are always there and we can't avoid it but we can secure our bitcoin by buying hardware wallet.

Yes, we need to secure our accounts to hackers. We need a wallet so that our money and bitcoin will be safe from hackers. I think we should have an online wallet and we make sure that no other people who knows our password exempt us. In that case out bitcoin and money are 100% secured.
That's a very important thing to do once you get involved in bitcoin. It's not just money that you will invest in here but there are some factors too. Hackers will always be here so get rid of them to keep you safe. Losing something is not a good experience so better safe than sorry. Prevention is always better than curen

Hackers are all over this system so keeping your bitcoin safe is a must thing to do. We must get rid of them because once they see an opportunity they will surely grab it just to steal what is ours. It's not an easy thing to do but we must do it for our own sake. Before doing something that is connected with bitcoin make sure that it is safe.

In this case I solve it only by providing security in the form of google authentication, the rest I only entrust to the security that has been given by the wallet that I use because I think the wallet itself is quite safe

The rule is never to give anyone access to your wallet because it is one of the conditions that are not easy to be hacked.

I think bitcoin transactions and wallet is hard to hack because of its unique algorithms. However you need to be extra careful in safekeeping our bitcoin wallets just like the basic drill like coming up with the unique password and do not let anyone have an access to it. Also, remember to log out from any devices.

If you want to keep your bitcoins safe then you need to keep them in a wallet like Ledger Nano S or in the Electrum which have private keys so one can able to hack them until you keep your bitcoins safe.Online wallets are never a safe place to store your bitcoins even with two factor authentication it still can be hacked.

You should beware of any services that offer the storage of your online funds. Many exchangers and online purses in the past have suffered from security holes and such services are still insufficiently insured and safe to keep funds there, like in a bank.

This thread is very helpful to those people who are newbie in cryptoworld because they did not know what is the next step they do that. Im confident that hackers can't open my  account because my wallet is very secure I have anti virus, I set 2fa in my wallet and I did not click any link that was given to me that I did not know what it is. You need to secure your bitcoin because it's not easy to earn money .

Yes, we should be careful in safekeeping of our keys because hacking today is very ramphant world wide and we should not store important keys to internet storage sites but instead save it in flash drive.
