I think just don’t keep your investments in one place. It’s unlikely you’ll get hacked at the same time through all of them –especially if you have varying emails and passwords for each. Wink

Maybe to be safer on the wallet online. You are required to be careful at login. Because there are some scam websites, so you have to be careful and you can bookmark on the original website. And do not click on anything suspicious.

I think that instead of online wallets the offline ones are a lot safer though the process is a long one of getting registered and bejng able to buy and sell your Bitcoins but it's worth it for the added safety ..
The hardware wallets ar just too much for the ones who are holding just a little amount and.. it's only beneficial for the ones who have huge sum to save.
When we talk about security then one should check out wallets with segWit support like samourai ' .

Hmm... You don't need to register an offline wallet. Also, AFAIK, there is no link between extra security and segwit support (correct me if i'm wrong tough).

I think nowadays the best place and proven safest to store bitcoin you have is only in blockchain.com because there it is directly stored in place that use to menyimapn and bitcoin transactions.

I've repeated this soooo many times
blockchain.info and blockchain.com = private company
blockchain = technology for a decentral, trustless, immutable datastore on which bitcoin is built
blockchain.info/.com != the blockchain

blockchain.com/info is just using the blockchain name, they are not the inventors of the blockchain technology. They did not write the whitepaper, they are not the only ones that store the complete blockchain (that's why it's called decentral), they have no power to change anything without consensus, they do not have the power to modify transactions in the chain, they do not support anything but their own apps,...

blockchain.info is an online wallet. Eventough it's one of the safer ONLINE wallets, it's still an online wallet thus inherently unsafer than a truely vetted desktop wallet/hardware wallet/offline wallet/paper wallet.

You must be careful to all hackers because all of our effort and strength are given to pursue our dreams. So we need to be more alert and be specific in securitt because if you are just easy go lucky all of this can be gone even in a few seconds.

Thanks for this awesome information. It will be useful to so many people. I think the hardware wallet is the way to go once you have a lot of cryptocurrencies to keep. Paying for the hardware wallet is worth it as it will give you adequate security. That is my opinion though.

The best way to safe your bitcoin from hacker is to use hardware wallet, but you have to spend some money to buy it. Otherwise, you can use free wallet such as Exodus or online wallet coinbase, blockchain.info.

Online wallet is like the least secure and most easiest way to get your coins hacked. If you don't know than web wallets are a constant target of hacking attempts by hackers. You also never know when a web wallet exit scams and runs away with all the coins of the people. Hardware wallet is the most secure way to safeguard your coins from hackers.

Most of the people are using free software to save their passwords. This is very risky as those passwords can be broken

First of all, you need to be careful on the Internet, you need to be able to use your data and not to throw even small information such as your account, I think it will greatly strengthen your protection.

Using a mutisign wallet requires more than two private keys to confirm the transaction! That would be safer! or use bitcoin on a computer not connected to the Internet

Well, I am using an online wallet to keep secure all my Bitcoin and Fiat Currencies. I really love being able to use digital currencies or the crypto currencies. Why? Because it help a lot way more easier in some of my transactions using crypto currencies. But hackers nowadays is widely all around so we need to have secure our earnings in a much efficient and safe wallet.
