yes, it's an important decision how you store your cryptocurrencies. Make sure to make a proper research on all available solutions prior to the choosing the right one for you. Safety comes first

Now a days, this is the most tough task to save your coins from hackers and in my opinion the best way to save it to transfer your coins in hardware wallet. Hardware wallets are 100% save from any hackers attacks and no one can transfer any thing other than you.

There are several ways to store your coins.Hardware wallet is the safest as far as I concern.Of course having a unique strong password is essential in order to protect your assets. In addition to those basic precautions, being vigilant about spams and fishers is very important for the safety and to avoid hackers. One should never share account information with any site or in any form. Further don't use the same password over and over again for multiple accounts which ultimately convey access for hackers and fishers. In my opinion a person must take good advice from an experienced person in crypto world before its too late.

For bitcoin I always download a copy of bitaddress.org onto a fresh USB. I have a computer that never goes online and I generate addresses that way. This way the key is never online at any point until I'm ready to move the funds. I also usually split the bitcoin up with 10 wallets and 10% in each. This way if I do suffer a loss hopefully its only 10%.

The best and the most effective way to safeguard your bitcoins is to save your bitcoins in a hardware wallet. This proves to be the best way as the coins are protected very well from hackers. You can also secure your accounts on online accounts but its riskier to keep your coins there.

Did you know that the best way in order for you to keep your bitcoin from hackers is to store it into a hardware wallet. Like Ledger Nano S. That's one of the best way in order to make it safe. Just be reminded that in order for you to be safe from hackers is to make sure that those valuables are kept properly. Buy a ledger nano now.

Online wallets are nice but when one holds significant quantity of coins/tokens (up to a months wage in crypto),then it is strongly advised to use a hardware wallet and follow the instructions to secure it.

Yes. Thanks for this good information. I believe it will be helpful to many. Although as for me, I prefer the hard trezor device, although it is quite expensive.

Maybe you yourself are the hacker haha I just need to do something like to keep it up: 1. Never talk about anything about my investment and my own wallet to the people around me 2. Degrading people who suggest to save my investment or sell wherever they give!

This topic is critically important, however most of us I believe are too lazy to take time needed to protect their funds from hackers, and whet it comes to the point, where they get hacked, they start to regret.

Most bounty hunters and airdrop hunters usually loose their funds through hacks. They fill many forms not doing any checks on the project to know if its legit or not, in turn submit their details such as email addresses, private keys and some go as far as using their email passwords on phishing sites that collects and stores their data.
Please kindly do a background check on the projects you fill online and dont use same passwords for your email and your exchange where u keep your coins.
Final note always activate 2factor-authenticator
This is sad and I have seen many investors and bounty hunters lose their money that way, the hackers use mostly social engineering to deceive unsuspecting users about their intentions pretending to be the developers or a respected member of the community and then they get access to many wallets and steal everything from those users, we need to remember that if we lose our coins we are never going to recover them, so must take extreme care of them. 2FA is one of the defensive mechanism of your account, it can bee safer if you use that method, and always think that you are always vulnerable to hackers, you must a plan B in all your works, especially in your wallet, you must have your own security method i maintaining the stronghold of your wallet from hackers, hackers now a days are really smart and they can get your information in the web in an instant. 2FA is a great way to protect your coins but many people are too lazy to implement that solution and if you lose your coins because of laziness then you have no excuse, people need to understand that the market of cryptocurrencies is very dangerous, you do not know who is at the other side of the screen and while there are many good people here there are also many scammers trying to deceive you.

I personnaly dont trust anything online, whatever coin I can store on my Hardware wallet I keep it there. Indeed Hardware wallets like Ledger or Trezor are the most easy way to keep your cryptos Safe and no stress. If your BTC are on exchange be sure to activate the google authentificator.

Hackers steal Bitcoins, by getting hands on Bitcoin wallet’s private keys, or steal Bitcoins from exchanges, that use conventional databases to handle the member’s Bitcoins. Bitcoins cannot be stolen from a secured private key wallet.
