Why some people want the Ethereum to over come Bitcoin in the near future? Is it because they make profit from ETH or what?
I think only some people want it, I personally want bitcoin to remain intact and stand in the top position as a digital currency, no one replaces it. for me bitcoin will be more useful than other altcoints including ethereum. |

It is because the technology blockchain of ethereum is very good and fast transaction and a nice platform. But maybe it is possible that ethereum can beat bitcoin in the future. We cant predict the moving of this two currency. Goodluck all
maybe because they get ETH when the market price is cheap, and these people are ambitious, ETH can replace BTC which will get high selling points when ETH increases. but let the people ambitious like that. let's work as much as possible to get profit because two ETH and BTC coins have good value. |

Probably those some people have so much investment in ETH so they want that to grow instead of bitcion. But i don't think this could ever happen not anytime soon atleast. Bitcoin is so much ahead of everybody and more popular, more users more investors. How can eth even go toe to toe with bitcoin lol

Consumers having options in a variety of different digital commodities is a good thing. We don't need to try and figure which cryptocurrency is going to be "the one" because none of them will, or many of them will. Depends on your perspective.
We should stop shooting ourselves in the foot because there is plenty of market share here for a handful of strong networks to exist. The questions we should be asking:
When will ownership of assets like cars and homes be represented on the blockchain instead of by governments?
When will digital currency have a higher market share than fiat money?
When I get a paycheck in ethereum?

Bitcoin has been on top for way too long now, its just high time something new came in power and assume the control, besides the cin has become so expensive in all aspects. the transaction is not only slow but also very expensive which creates additional costs, and loss of value in the long run, ETH is more promising

I am someone who will rather keep eth than btc. Although btc is the "king" of crypto but to me the technology lacking in btc is the killer. Whereas eth can do more in terms of technology and transaction.

When cashing out i prefer Ethereum over bitcoin because of low withdrawal transaction fee. but when I'm hodling i just stack up into bitcoin until the price pump up and convert it into etherium then sell it to fiat.

according to what I thought was not a good idea. Despite etherum's desire to replace the position of bitcoin, then I think that is impossible. because bitcoin is a high-value coin that is in great demand by investors. for this reason I do not agree that etherum replaces bitcoin. |

Well, people want ETH to over come BTC is because that the special technique of ETH is more advance and it has the smart contract and also a lesser transaction time. Thats why it is better for ETH to overcome BTC.

Maybe ethereum has a higher value than btc and they can get a good profit than it. But in my own perspective I would still choose btc among all coins for it was the king of all crypto currency. |

ETH is developing company which many features should be added to it. So chances of increasing price is very less. |

Because ETH is more used than BTC and it looks like BTC is dominating the market and wants to be the only boss in crypto. BTC is too slow compared to ETH and BTC fees are too high. In addition, the exploitation of BTC is increasingly difficult as the supply of BTC is increasingly exhausted

Because we sell and buy ETH more easily than BTC. Therefore we have more ETH than BTC. But i think it's hard to overcome BTC. All coins base on BTC.

Even with the very good potentials of ethereum and the rate at which people demand for it, I still think it cannot overcome bitcoin because bitcoin will continue to value more than it and it will also improve on its technology to reduce the rate of congestion.

Ethereum is an advancement based on the principle of blockchain that supports bitcoin but with a purpose that does not compete with Bitcoin also the two differ in many technical ways for example their programming langguage
