If anyone is going to post negative comments about the coin go ahead. Its your opinion and I respect that/

I was being supportive here, telling I saw it very early at a low block number ( 700 the 10th december )   Wink

o no i wasn't referring to you. I was talking to that one guy who was talking shit on the coin.

I've put the configuration file in the Roaming/Frozen folder. Checked thoroughly for firewalls and this wallet will still not sync. Any ideas?

Certainly, and yes it is called that:

Code:
rpcuser=name
rpcpassword=pass
rpcport=18450
port=18451
testnet=0
listen=1
daemon=1
server=1
gen=0
addnode=108.175.232.55
addnode=98.242.20.240
addnode=75.142.224.140
addnode=71.84.113.165
addnode=75.166.71.201

The file looks fine - it is the same as mine, and I am all synced up.  The only extra bit I have is bolded below, but I understand that this simply allows connections (from a miner) to connect - it should still sync without these lines :

Code:

rpcuser=name
rpcpassword=pass
rpcport=18450
port=18451
[b]rpcthreads=50
rpcallowip=*[/b]
testnet=0
listen=1
daemon=1
server=1
gen=0
addnode=108.175.232.55
addnode=98.242.20.240
addnode=75.142.224.140
addnode=71.84.113.165
addnode=75.166.71.201
addnode=222.126.164.66
addnode=139.190.255.127
addnode=174.100.51.46
addnode=218.74.37.218
addnode=84.249.109.128
addnode=50.201.141.6
addnode=84.249.109.128

Just to confirm the file is called "frozen.conf" and has been placed in a similar location to this :

Code:

C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Frozen

Same problem after rm ./frozen/wallet.dat.

The Webxass pool is suggesting cgminer with scrypt and doesn't seem to be alive atm, i.e. no active workers. Fix, anyone?

I first started by using the Webxass pool - but my shares were not being allocated to my account, so dropped it.  I now use the darkhosis one, and have done for a few days now with no issue !

Also, this is a quark based coin that uses the quark algorithm - so a scrypt  miner wont work .. or am I way off the mark ?!

Me and Block_Erupter both created this coin and he will be taking over for until my school finals are done which will be done by the 18th of this month. He mostly created this coin and without his help this coin wouldn't be out right now. He knows more then me with crypto currency. He most likely will take over and he has some special plans for this coin like adding it to exchanges like bter.com and btc-e.com if it gets big enough.

Thank you. Everyone I have big plans for this coin. I really want it to succeed. Their was no stupid premine like basically all the Alt-coins that were released. Their is a limited amount of Fz which is 7,7 million coins.

I'm sure there are a bunch of "addnode" lines that aren't important/useful right now, but whatever -- it's running. Problem I'm getting now is with having multiple PCs connect to this client. I have eight that are working fine, but I can't seem to get more than that. I'm running with the following command line parameters:

Code:
frozen-qt.exe -server -maxconnections=250 -rpcthreads=8

Is rpcthreads somehow limiting the number of connections? Default is 4 I think, and before changing that to 8 I was having issues with more than 4. However, "threads" usually means CPU cores or something, which is a bit confusing. I'm going to bump up to 16 and just see what happens, but if anyone else is having this same problem and knows the fix, pass it along. I'm also going to try removing the extra rpcallowip lines and just go with rpcallowip=192.168.1.* and see if that works.

Update: rpcthreads appears to be the solution. Also, I'm getting a crash of the frozen-qt client every time I tell it to quit, which is a bit of an irritating bug. Now I just need some way to monitor my collective hash rate for FZ mining! Hahaha....

I have had one buyer at 1LTC per 1K FZ. I'm still waiting for another transaction to go through.

Holy crap so thats how you do it! lol!! Here I was setting up a wallet for every 4 miners (stupid). CPU threads are different from the rpcthreads. I'm going to see if I can max it out. Did increasing it get you more miners connecting to your wallet?
