I think it is too early to ask such questions. Crypto is too young not to be volatile. But one day it can happen that crypto will be like gold

Agree. Crypto market has so short history that we can't tell about volatility as solid fact. But I think crypto never will be as gold. They have absolutely different essence and purpose. At least gold is physical thing (we don't say about gold futures). On the market without physical delivery it's the same today already

We already have many stable coins which are backed by FIAT and they are not volatile. When the market become bigger it will be less volatile and manipulative for sure.

Many people compare crypto to gold, and I see so many similarities as well.

I believe one day crypto can be less volatile than gold. If more people adopt, and address values to everyday items, trading in a daily basis, (like for grocery shopping) then crypto will  be easier to use, safer, fluctuate less in terms of prices, and a lot more stable.

What do you guys think?

I believe that the crypto market will remain unstable in the future, with large fluctuations in the crypto market from time to time. It is possible that with time the situation in the crypto market will stabilize a bit, price fluctuations will not be so strong, but in any case, volatility will remain higher than gold.

Maybe you right but i still think that bitcoin is not that great as people use to present it and at this point gold still will be more stable

Surely it can be in the future. Because i believe in the future bitcoin will be really valuable like 50 60k dollar. So these times btc will be more stable than now.
In the future bitcoin can be less volatile than gold. But i am sure crypto will be really volatile in the future also. Because that is the most important thing in crypto.
Volatile is really important. We want adrenalin. and we found that in crypto space.

cryprocurrency market is very young so it's difficult to overcome the gold. it has a relatively stable price and crypto is too volatile compared to gold. may be in future the volatility will be equal.

It is good to stay on that way. But for now, the volatility of cryptocurrency compared to the gold is more high. Hoping for the future, when the mass adoption in cryptocurrency was fully implemented, we can see some good and less volatility for the cryptocurrency price.

it depends maybe on the volume of the user
and a lot of factors to consider.
but crypto not being volatile is far from happening from now.
but lets wish in the mere future.
and lets benefit from it.

For sure, it could happen one day. But the market is to young for this. Maybe in 10-20 years we will see that the volatility is smaller than by gold. But I do not hope, that this will happen, because it will cut off the opportunities to earn money, such as daily and margin trading.

Volatility is supported only by small volumes. Now it is quite difficult to make any predictions, but I can assure you that cryptocurrencies can fight with gold for part of its market and prove that it is very popular.

Of all the cryptocurrencies I could compare with gold only Bitcoin and then, gold is stability, and cryptocurrencies can not relate to something stable.

Not a chance. Crypto is something that is volatile because it is unregulated and decentralized, we can buy and sell and do basically whatever we want with it without explaining it to anyone and can manipulate to hurt others if we want to and still get away with it without any consequences unlike regular traditional investment methods like gold.

For example there are laws against buying gold from one country and flying it to another country whereas there is absolutely no law that states you can buy bitcoin from one country and cashing it somewhere else.

Bitcoin and all other coins are highly volatile and gold is not because the governments have laws for gold and stocks whereas no government ever can truly put any laws for bitcoin, even if they do there is no way they can force it and you can do whatever you want anyway since they can't really follow what you are doing with it.

I think cryptocurrency can not achieve stability like as gold at least 10 years more because almost coins now are used to trade and exchange but not use for applications in real life. So, it completely doesn't have the stability to save like gold

This is not a can, it is a fact. The current cryptocurrency market is still in its growth stage, and the future bitcoin will definitely replace the status of gold.

Gold stability is definitely far beyond Bitcoin. Gold is recognized as a general equivalent in the world. If the price is unstable, there will be many serious consequences. Bitcoin is just a little baby who hasn't been born for a long time. It is currently not possible to compare with gold.

I always feel bored by comparing crypto and gold.
I think this is irrelevant, and it will be a position that will never end. we speak technology and not physical. this is different and not relevant in comparison especially for stability

Not at all, the BTC is changing a lot, if they replace gold will be a high risk for us, so I do not, because the BTC risky and may cost more. The costs involved in dealing with them and using them require knowledge and technology.

I agree with you that bitcoin can replace gold and in stores will sell goods for a crypt. And that's good. You fit your phone to the product, and the volume takes the money from the Twine phone.

Gold is not very volatile compare to cryptos , gold prices will slowly going up and up as it become more ancient, the value will rise up as the time goes by, while the cryptos price value are so volatile , it changes from time to time now and will falldown its price during the dip season and will rise in the next bullrun season , that is the volatility of cryptocurrency.
