I think whales can manipulate the market because the market is still small. but if every body use bitcoin will be harder to manipulated. but with must aware another way to manipulate the market with fake news.

Yes, big whales are manipulating the market if more investments take place with huge amount then the market price will increase and this is what we want that people invest with huge amount so that the graph if price increases. Price manipulates in this way and the other main important thing is the promotions of Bitcoin which is a key to attract people to introduce it.

 Those whales are something mystique, so everybody knows, that they exist but nobody have not seen them, so I decided for myself not to think about whales, but work and do what I can do.

Even tho i think that the whales are playing a big role in the major pumps and dumps that are happening every once in a while , yet i don't think that all the hips and dips that the market goes through is because of them because these people won't be orchestrating a highly coordinated moves and putting billions of dollars on stake for some mood swings or over a few hundred dollars of worth per coin because that is simply not worth doing .
Moreover , we have seen the market falling many times just because of FUD , and i don't think that the whales are behind that too even if they practically can , yet once again fake crashing the market too many times won't be in their favor .

Whales could really manipulate the market especially if they have the money for it and we are not talking about small amount. This had happened before, whales could help in making the price of bitcoin higher by buying so they could also do the opposite which is making the price dump by selling. But it is also not right to blame it all at them for the kind of market which we have can be affected by many factors like @Snaic mentioned.

This dumping and pumping of the price only proves that the market is alive but  I think that the market is healthier when there are small fluctuations because there is a balance in selling and buying.

Investments with huge amount are very important in the market of Bitcoin as we know that big investments means demand rate is increasing which will give rise to the value of Bitcoin so this improves the market. the price of Bitcoin is low these days 6.7k dollar is the current price which is not a favorable price for sellers, therefore huge investments are necessary for the Bitcoin to rise u again.

My theory is that whales sell at 10k and then create fud so market slides down only to buy back and pump . What do you think ?

Maybe sometimes whales manipulating the crypto market because some people are panicking they sell it there holding so whales grab the opportunity to buy it.  That's why we don't need to be panic because you give a profit to whales when you sell your funds in low price.

Yes still a number of good investors are there who have a big amount of money, and can manipulate bitcoin, they not only manipulate bitcoin but a number of other good coins are there from where the big whales are getting good profit. They jut waiting for the suitable time, and when they realize the best time for their investment the put their money in bitcoin or any other currency and get their benefit so easily.

I think there is a manipulation, you get it when Bitcoin loses $1000 of its value in just 24 hours, that happened several times, in addition, Bitcoin and other crypto currencies markets are easy to manipulate using fake news as a lot of new traders don't have enough experience or they got in during the hype.

Whales have always been guilty  of market manipulation of certain tokens. What surprise  me is that they make have been able to do that to bitcoin and as such crashed the entire market.

They are doing it since forever. If you believe in bitcoin what you and everybody else who believes too should do is to wait a few years because there has been voices ,just speculation that bitcoin price will be stable at 40.000 dollars in 2019 to 2020.

It is worth waiting a few years to get a considerable amount of money from your investment. This is also a very good time to buy bitcoin so do it if you can.

Whales has always been manipulating the prices in the market, they are always doing that in the past few years, that's why the market is so volatile, it changes every time , there are also the big dumpers, the panic sellers , the weak holders of the potential coins and alts, it make cost the market to fall because of this kind of people in this industry.
