this depends on how the rules of airdrop and bounty campaign I have experience for bounty campaign usually they give rules so that the participants can give KYC to know where the participants of bounty campaign and for airdrop better you do not give your identity because airdrop result is not too much.

if for KYC airdrop I do not think you should do it, because it is very unbalanced than reward. but if for bounty, inevitably if you participate in the campaign you should do it as part of your agreement

KYC is your personal data, this is why GDPR was established and now crypto world is asking users for KYC even for airdrop worh 1-2$. It is funny.

Passport or any other identity docs can be abused so be careful what you sent out and why. I understand the KYC is needed for exchanges where you buy and send tokens, coins but send KYC for others like bounty and airdrops is not ok.

Better miss an airdrop than being abused with your own documents.

Yes, KYC is OK to prevent bounty/airdrop cheaters who using other personal data to claim the reward. But, make sure you are only giving your personal data to the trusted company/project.
I strongly advise not doing KYC verification for claim airdrop, It's totally not worth it. You just sell your personal data just for the penny...

For me KYC nothing gives, but it only takes my data, which can be easily leaked. i don't like this fact, what I only suffer from thi procedure and ICO receive my data for free, what can be sold on black market.

I don' think that doing KYC is wise. There is always the chance of the project failing and them selling your information on the dark web to hackers and scammers. You should be very careful who you share that information with as things can go very wrong, very fast if you are not careful. The only thing you should be doing KYC for should be for the exchanges.
