A very important thing that I greet! Since too many scammers who use multiple accounts, thus take away the whole reward. In all good projects you need to use KYC

I do not understand the question, what would you like to receive for verifying your identity? You get nothing, only verified account and bigger limits probably.

KYC is proof of identity. that is, by doing so the project makes sure that the user has one account and that he is authentic and not a fraudster
I think this is just a way of identifying ICO projects in a number of countries that forbid the citizens of their country to join the ICO. And projects must comply with this rule. But I do not understand how the ICO registered account can cheat

Hi.can someone tell me if KYC is ok ? what could be the effects of doing it especially in bounties/airdrops, they are requiring to pass KYC before joining
The KYC check does not give the headhunter anything. It only takes our time and kills our nerves, because to go through what does not fit into the proposed answer tables is rather difficult and sometimes impossible. In addition, a KYC check illegally takes away our confidential data. Correctly in this regard comes the ICO Bluenote team, whose signature I am now carrying, which in the form of joining the ICO signature campaign makes it possible to confirm that we are not citizens of countries whose governments forbid their citizens to participate in the ICO. Although this is a controversial question: what does participation in the ICO mean? Some governments are afraid that their citizens will not suffer losses, because they consider the activities of the ICO too risky. Bounty hunters cannot bear material losses due to the fact that they do not invest their funds in the ICO, and therefore should not be tested by KYC.

If you are not interested in giving out your data in the name of kyc, do not give it out, because there are lots of projects that will not ask you for kyc before getting your reward. Also, you need to be careful when it comes to kyc because some scammers are also using that to get the data of people for criminal purpose.

Nowadays ICO is KYC compliant due to the regulation from SEC but there still few projects that will reward even though not doing the KYC process. do your own research first about the ICO and if it looks legit then you don't have to worry on giving your personal information.

Actually, KYC is only used by investors and not for Bounty hunters. Because there are a lot of scams so Bounty hunters are also given KYC. But not all projects use KYC to make compensation. I don't know as a result of giving personal data to other people. Because I prefer projects that don't use KYC.

Usually, I try to avoid projects that have requirement to pass KYC or that do not have a clear position about KYC when they offer bounty hunters to become participants in their project. Because you can not expect anything good from projects that require KYC.

You still have to pass KYC, so look for good projects and do not fall for scams. I personally understand that if I want to participate in the bounty company of a normal project, then most likely I will have to pass the KYC, as this is a new trend, followed by all the good projects.

yeah, some people do avoid kyc. but some good projects that require Kyc to avoid fake accounts or multiple account users. so we can't just ignore it while we become a participant in the project. we really can't provide our data on each project that asks for the kyc, we have to see the team that works and notice they can be trusted or not.

As what i have read, kyc is not good for bounty purposes and so airdrops. Since there are fraud ico's, they might steal your personal identity. So if you are planning to submit kyc into a project, be sure that project is a legit and not fraud.

Yes KYC is not good it can only give us problems and it will exposed our identity and used it against us for some scammers and identity fraud, that is why I hate project who ask for it.

KYC ensures that nobody is doing double cross and that person is not fraud. A genuine person will never hesitate to show his identity but fraud will try to hide their identity. So, KYC is beneficial jn every aspect.

Some project require KYC as they want to assure and to know the identity of the participants in such campaignoperated, they make sure that there's no participance abusing the campaign like doing a multiple account and capture bounty scammer on those using others info to be accepted in the bounty campaign. As experience, most project looking for KYC are those legitimate one. Its okay to pass but always take a time to review on it first for more security purposes.

Anxiety. I am always aware of using my personal data. And also I would not be able to find out what the ICO used my persona data for its own needs, so I would not be able to prove a thing. It is very bad and it scares me a lot. That is why I want KYC to be cancelled.

The KYC only helps to prevent cheaters. However, sometimes legal projects may require KYC for bounty and airdrop distributions. These rules are already said at the very beginning.

I don't like it in any way as crypto is all about privacy but government is looking for a way to tax crypto trader and never put in to consideration when the person lost but only concern about the gain , which to me is a bad one and also think of money laundry, terrorist which is just mere thinking but no targible excuse, I think kyc is still much important in centralized exchange and soon we will all go to dex which require no kyc and if people don't submit details to ICO that require kyc I wonder how that ICO will survive so the user should be in control not the dev .
