I have offered to pick one up locally several times via email and it seems like that is frowned upon; unless I want to pick it up in a week.
Last week the price was 3 btc but they were taking offers and only had a few left so cash was a premium; even though I offered to pay in btc. And I still couldn't pick it up same day. Everyone will be glad to know that even if you pick it up locally its the same price, shipping or not.
Simply amazing.
Guess I will just have to get one from Sushi.
Mr. rkdms, you are trying to cut ahead of everyone else in line for the order queue when I've given you several days to pay.

Sadly that is not the situation at hand at all.
If they are in stock should they not be able to be picked up? How is that cutting in front of people?
Is that not the point of local; why would I pay and wait a week if I could literally pick it up. I will remove myself from this thread and purchase elsewhere.

Mine shipped today.
Saturday orders started to ship yesterday and more should be shipping out today. I will try and ship all Saturday Orders today, but it may have to go out tomorrow as well.
Those that order now, will receive units next week. This will be the last batch for ~25 or so days.

This is total bullshit.
I specifically gave you instructions to NOT require a sign on delivery, because of my work schedule, as I cannot be there during the day.
So, what do I get today in my e-mail box? A notice that the package requires sign-on IN PERSON delivery.
I did not ask for this. I specifically wrote instructions on my order for you NOT to do that.
So, now I get a notice on my door, saying there will be another attempt at 10:30 am tomorrow morning. Guess what? I work during that time, and the package requires an in-person signature.
Why is it that you do not listen to your customers? Is this really THAT hard?
So, not only did you make the unit cheaper, after I ordered it, but then you screw up the shipping, doing exactly what I told you NOT to do, in the instructions when I ordered it (do you even read the comments field?)
I would like a full refund, or failing that, a refund of 0.2 BTC. Sent you a PM.
I am seriously pissed off right now.

I had them do that. Still, I should not have had to do that, since I gave them specific instructions. It really should not be all that hard.

I did get GreaterNinja to respond and he was helpful, and received complimentary upgraded shipping (There is something else here but that's between me and GN). The tracking email arrived today at 4am PST/7am EST.
IMHO, Bitmain provides the best shipping speed and customer service. With a North American Distributor, you would expect that it would equal or exceed the precedent thats been started (Bitmain + Sushi). Right now they are below both, I guess as they "work the kinks out" of starting up the distribution center we should see it greatly improve as it moves from a Part-time Distro, to Full-Time Distro. I have more BTC I wish to spend, but my first test purchase was not quite as smooth as I had hoped...

Guys, lay off of him in a bit. He is very busy and doing a wonderful job. I would like to say that he spent more time than he probably had to helping me through teamviewer tonight because I f'ed up on my setup. I appreciate the help from him and am grateful that he was able to get the miners running after upgraded shipping for free and quick turn around time after the order was placed. I will not, and in fact am not since I am ordering another unit from him in the morning, hesitate to do business with him again.
Thanks again for your help tonight, you have proven to me that there are companies who care about their employees and will work to help out customers. I will continue to purchase from you (especially if I cannot get the unit that bitmain is sending me tomorrow to work). Hope people give you some slack and realize that if they think they can do better, then by all means they can start their own business.
