EarthCoin uses a 365 day period. It will start with 10,000 coins per block,
and it varies in a sine curve with amplitude of 2,000, with a period of
one year.

Every 14 days there will be one day with X2 payout.

Is this applied in any mining pools? So on that day I will be awarded double...Huh
Or I have to stick to SOLO Mining on that day ?
One more question, Is it possible to see somewhere actuall block reward?

Thx
I was wondering the same and another question is, when are the x2 and x5 days? We need to know the cycle.

Best guess is that the next 2x payout day will be on Jan 3rd since the coin originally launched the 20th, however to be certain we need the Devs to make an official calender depicting the dates on which we will receive more coins for mining

i prefere they dont make that.
if they make a calendar, we will have certainly high hashrate only in those days....
better for occasional miners, worse for regular miners.... Cheesy

Yeah I was thinking the same, I would like to buy more EAC, and if the x5 day is near mabye the price will drop one last time at the end of that day before going to the moon but I don't want to wait too much Smiley

How would you guys feel about an earthcoin only exchange (eac/usd - eac/btc - eac/ltc - eac/service/productexchange)?

It may become a reality.
This would be awesome, especially if you can deposit and withdraw dollars. For a layman, it is practically impossible (= hard enough to kill interest) to purchase BTCs right now. It would draw new people if they didn't have to buy those "expensive" BTCs first somehow. Just please no fragile mysql/php site. Smiley

So just tried Coinex and has an obvious bug on click on trade page where it says "Buy EAC     xxxxx BTC". It fills in the wrong field. hmmmm

Btw coinex guy, how come there is no "all-in" or "buy with everything I've got" buttons in any exchange sites, yours included? It's frustrating trying to manually find the exact amount and price if I wanna use up all my BTCs for EACs for example.

A difficulty of above 97 already is insane for this coin. And I don't think this does really stops people mining this coin.

Allthough it did for me, I've got some better alternatives now i think Smiley

{Curently quite inactive as I'm really busy in my private life. I will get back soon!}
