I'd be curious to know how many of you would sell if we suddenly reach 3x value in a few days?

What about 10x?

I think the difficulty plays a big role....   most really high market cap coins are so much more expensive than EAC, that even 10x would not make EAC on par with them... e.g. doge is almost 10x more expensive (most of the time... )

if we stay low diff and anyone can earn a lot of EAC in short time, 10x in a few days might make people sell...

but with multi-coin pools switching to EAC, we'd be at such a diff in no time that 10x price would be justified anyway....

people forget that price is directly dependent on difficulty and in that sense, on popularity with miners

This is just something I'm personally putting up to compare or give you guys comparison to:

I've had a real love/hate relationship as many of you probably have had with C, however it doesn't take away from the fact that sans the bugs and growing pains they did a lot 'right'.

Do many of you also have 1000+ trades under you and tons of cryptsy points coming in daily?

In order of engine quality, liquidity, volume trades, etc. I still think it's GOX>BTC-e>Cryptsy>randomrest - re a great first user experience for someone that enjoys daytrading on a good platform with a big port (all have speedbumps/growing pains/etc. but that first user experience is important. I've been on a dozen or so now intimately, none have got it perfect yet and I doubt they will for a while as this niche continues to explode).

I just logged in and did a little review of my account, and was kinda surprised by the data so decided to share.

I want to buy some EAC with BTC,but I can't place order.I tried several times but all failure.
Why?
-----------

Anybody care to help? no clue re what/why it wouldn't work...

he might have firefox and "no script"... or a similar plugin blocking a script the site needs

from the PM'er: For anyone else having this prob:
--------------------
Thanks
I saw many replies in the thread, and their proposal is to change the browser.
I have changed the browser,so the problem is solved.

Thank you!

Please, get some hashing from Poolerino.com, we got 51% of network, registrations are closed since 0:30 CET+1.

Now this must be one of the more unusual requests I've ever seen from mining pool owner... Cheesy

I was using Poolerino, but since it was havig too many issues when I used it, I switched all my miners to other pools, mostly eac.us.hackshard.com.

I guess this is showing Poolerino is taking their business seriously.

This is the mark of an honest operator!

Unfortunately, it makes people want to use your pool!

Glad you are doing so well. It's nice to see the good guys win. Hopefully a few others of your integrity are also running pools.

can someone explain to me what the big deal is about owning 51% of the network?

luckily im already registered so im already in, but personally id rather mine on the largest pool as it gives the most probability of that pool finding blocks and me getting my share of it

i see that it says they could manipulate the blockchain but outside of rhetoric, i fail to see exactly HOW they would be able to do that.

because of the fact its possible you are then relying on the operators integrity...the fact that someone is in the position to possibly do this wouldn't inspire confidence in the coin

Quick Start

Start with registering on our pool & creating workers for your computers. You can use our automated config generator in our workers page and download pre-configured files for your mining software.

EU Stratum Server: stratum+tcp://eu.coinum.org:3335
US Stratum Server: stratum+tcp://us.coinum.org:3335

CGMiner Configuration

Here is sample CGMiner configurations with fail-over support. Given that the stratum server you use fails, your miner software will continue to work with out other stratum server.
Note: You have to change WORKER and PASS with your actual worker-name and worker-password values you get from workers page.

EU
Code:
./cgminer -o stratum+tcp://eu.coinium.org:3335 -u WORKER -p PASS --failover-only -o stratum+tcp://us.coinium.org:3335 -u WORKER -p PASS --scrypt -I 13

US
Code:
./cgminer -o stratum+tcp://us.coinium.org:3335 -u WORKER -p PASS --failover-only -o stratum+tcp://eu.coinium.org:3335 -u WORKER -p PASS --scrypt -I 13

  • Our network - We already operate first class & high performance pools, check our other pools over http://www.coinium.org
  • %0 fee - Our network have no fees! We just kindly ask you to donate if you like to.
  • Stratum servers - We have stratum servers in Europe and United States. Right now we have a total of 4 servers (2 stratum server, 1 webserver and 1 database server) and we are quickly upgrading & adding new servers to stack when we need to.
  • Fail-over config support - In case that the stratum server you use fails, your miner will just continue to mine with our secondary stratum server.
  • DDOS Protected - Our servers are DDOS protected 7x24!
  • Automated backups - We get automated backups of our system.
  • Automatic payments - You can set automatic payments if you like to.
  • Fast confirmations - We are quickly processing your transactions once newly found blocks are confirmed.
  • Automatic config generator - Check our workers page to automatically download a generated configuration file for your workers with fail-over support!
  • Continous support - We are eager to help our users! You can ask for support in our forum topic.
  • IRC support - We have operators in our IRC channel and you can chit-chat about mining too.
  • Mobile friendly - We have mobile friendly user interface so you can check your miner's status from your mobile devices
  • Contests - We are regularly creating contests and giving bonus coins to our miners!

Yes - super refreshing to just set it and forget it with Poolerino's Earthcoin pool.

It just works the way it's supposed to.
