user "aleksand" and me are doing a trade.
I am offering 500 CAT, and aleksand is offering 0.45 BTC for this. He's requesting me to send the money first. He refers to his trading page:

This seems legit. But, since it's my first trade on this forum I'm a bit cautious. aleksand is offering me to send my money in increments. Should I send him my money and wait for him to send me my BTC's, or should I use escrow? If the last, can an experienced, trustworthy trader help us out?

It's a scammer.  They log in with multiple accts to try and severely lowball the price (over 20-30x too low) then buy with another acct.

If you're going to trade coins, especially a new coin that people are now very eager to buy and sell, at least do it in small increments if you don't trust the seller. I've only been here a few weeks, but the scamming on these boards is rife. Also; if you've been scammed, there's a forum for reporting scammers.
