I think that Facebook will release its coin in 2 years. This process is not as easy as many think. The product must be maximally good.

Every A,B,C company comes up with a new coin everyday and you say that a company like Facebook will need 2 years for this. And why do you assume that they are already not working on that coin ? One more thing, if they release any such coin, I am sure that it will be in some way integrated to FB.

We first need to think about why Facebook will release its own coin, what they would get out of it? Personally I do not see a reason for Facebook to do it, but supposing it did I think there will be many people that will use it just because it comes from Facebook but since I have never had a Facebook account then it is obvious I will not have any use for a coin like that and while some people waste their money in such a coin I will keep investing in bitcoin.

I think it's normal because cryptocurrency is the hottest trend at the moment and seem like Facebook is really going to create their own cryptocurrency. yes, if it happens it will be something extraordinary, but I think facebook does not need it, because facebook already has everything, so why bother making a coin.

If Facebook creates its own crypto currency, its popularity will depend on the degree of implementation as a means of payment and emission conditions. In any case, it is unlikely to replace bitcoin, because 1) it is centralized 2) it is subject to US law.

Also as FB is an advertising ecosystem in itself it will do it's own level or marketing just on it's own Social network. With in the popularity of Facebook its not surprising that they will make its own coin someday. Its a good sign if Facebook start also to get involve with crypto and make a coin of their own. Because they will attract a lot of investor and users with their followers alone even only 20 percent will join too with a huge impact to the crypto world.

I'm sure it will be successful, they already have a large number of users even if a fraction of users buy into the coin it will be a huge success. They won't have to do much in terms of PR, it will even be a huge win for crypto in general.

A very real possibility, if we consider a Facebook coin as a means of allowing to pay for advertising, or to promote some kind of information. They can create a very promising idea for unwinding accounts and earning likes and channel subscriptions if they appreciate this coin in a fixed number of dollars.
