I don't think that is the fear..  The actual fear is the hostile take over by the machines or if something goes wrong with the AI during treatments which might lead to the death of a patient or something bad. But i support the advancement of AI in the medical field.

AI is needed for medical purposes. AI(bots) has way more accuracy than a human being in operations. That is why i will support it.

Yeah, the truth is that whether we accept it or not AI will take over a lot of jobs, it has happened before with other technology and it is happening right now with computers. So doctors should understand that AI is more or less a partner that tries to make their job easier and efficient.

Fear is talking to most realistic there fear isn’t being overthrown it’s losing their day jobs. The fact is they should be studying for better jobs and not just cashiers and generic easily automated job positions which don’t even take ai really to replace just a generic app lol

I think AI in it self would open up new set of jobs; However rendering some traditional jobs obsolete that is a given. We can almost certainly tell which would be but in the medical sector you still need the human touch in there at least on the psychological level to comfort the patient.

AI cannot fully take over doctors job.. There would be a professional there guiding the AI on what to do and to fix any technical glitch.

The truth is that you are speaking in term of 10 to 20  years but you possibly don't know what would happen 1century from now. The question is not whether AI will take over doctors job the true question is when will it happen. I have seen what man is capable of and am gotta tell you, in probably 100 or so years to come AI will have surpass man in almost everything imaginable so we should not be afraid instead brace up for the inevitable. Doctors should know that it gonna happen someday maybe sooner than they expect.

Whenever I've been to a hospital the nurses are always rushed off their feet and you have to wait a long time to see one yourself ... If AI can help in other tasks which frees up time for nurses that's a massive positive.

Agreed, the essence of AI, robots and all that is to hasten processes that on a normal day will take much more time to achieve and also some robots when it comes to performing surgeries, reach to a much more distinctive limit than the normal human hands can reach but even at that we still need the supervision and control of the medical practitioners
