Guide on how to set up solo mining on Windows!

This is the file, named "qqcoin.conf" (important, it's not qqcoins.conf!) that I place in my c:\Users\hipstacoin\AppData\Roaming\QQcoin\ folder, which contains:

Code:
rpcuser=hipstacoin.1
rpcpassword=x
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
daemon=1
server=1
listen=1
gen=0
port=20111
rpcport=20112
addnode=10.0.0.48
addnode=66.45.255.119
addnode=206.72.193.8

Now start up your qqcoin-qt wallet file as a server by running "qqcoin-qt.exe -server"

I then edited the "solo-miner.bat" file to contain this:
Code:
qqcoinminer -o 127.0.0.1:20112 -u hipstacoin.1 -p x --scrypt --Nfmin 4 --Nfmax 30 --StartT 1387769316 --thread-concurrency 10240 --auto-fan -I 13 -g 2 -w 256 --gpu-engine 1025

Which seems to work (the rejected/orphaned blocks thing is a whole other issue that I don't think I can solve here, or is even solveable by me, that is a network / set-up of the coin issue I believe). All the coins I mine come in as transactions, then immediately disappear.

WHAT THE FUCK?

Developers, please explain.

p.s. if this helped you, this is my QQcoin address for a small donation. Would be appreciated. Thank you!

You should download the QQminer to mine.
Read the post one more time. Following the guide.It's working for me.

We really need some mining pools right now. Hard to solo.

I guess the reason for the many orphans is that the wallet was compiled without UPnP support (only 8 connections). No access to a linux box atm or I'd try to compile it myself.  Wink

i have 25 connection in windows wallet

got a few blocks but 100's or orphans, it will improve as diff rises.

However it is rising too slowly.....grrr.

about 1 in 50 accepted now. So in 1 hour i guess most block you find will go through.

I gave up mining applecoin too early, won't make the mistake here. Staying till i have 25 blocks or even more.

Code:
Status: 138 confirmations, broadcast through 7 nodes
Date: 28-12-2013 21:22
Source: Generated
Credit: 253.00 QQC
Net amount: +253.00 QQC
Transaction ID: 19671bc3200c45a9648d4efee4a6d1d81cd0d366f723ce6db9ccdd2e8c1042cf

Generated coins must mature 120 blocks before they can be spent. When you generated this block, it was broadcast to the network to be added to the block chain. If it fails to get into the chain, its state will change to "not accepted" and it won't be spendable. This may occasionally happen if another node generates a block within a few seconds of yours.
It looks like these 253 babies are here to stay!  Cool
