daemon=1 server=1 rpcallowip=192.168.0.* rpcuser=user rpcpassword=password Thank you! I still needed the rpcport though. I found this site: https://cryptocointalk.com/topic/2582-mooncoin-moon-information/. It listed a RPC port of 44663 and a P2P port of 44664. I added rpcport=44663 and the wallet would launch but it gave me a big long error message stating I had to create a secure password and gave a mile long example. So I created a really long one and it finally launched. Yay! What is the P2P port? I'm assuming that it stands for Peer To Peer. Sorry if it that is a noob question. I seem to be mining fine without it in the conf file. Not sure if i need to add it.

yes, if you don't set a port, default RPC is 44663 : https://github.com/realmooncoin/mooncoin/blob/master/README.md#portsRPC port is use to communicate with wallet (mining software, block explorer, exchange, ...) P2P port is use to communicate between nodes (protocol, so this port number can't be changed). This last is useful to know if you want become a full node, for this you need to open it in your box/router/firewall.

Shouldn't the initial post be updated to fix the link to the Windows wallet binaries? Of, if that's not possible, perhaps that binary could be hosted on mooncoin.com, or a link to the binaries be put in your signature, agswinner? Just a suggestion, as it would make it easier/nicer for newer people coming here, or being interested about MOON.

Great. Why not adding those links to the Mooncoin official web page, so that it downloads from a "trusted" location? ( www.mooncoin.com) I could help with the web hosting, if needed.

Mooncoin.info was the Official web page, but deacomboogie ,legendary creator of MoonCoin, is disappeared and web site exspired . Mooncoin.com , mooncoin.rocks, moonchain.net, etc are websites run by volunteers. As you noted, for several days mooncoin.rocks is exspired (web site backup of the first). I bought the domain mooncoinitalia.com at least to ensure a certain continuity of information and content We notify you when it's ready

Yes, seems so. Maybe a good time to buy cheap Mooncoins?

Sorry if the question seems silly or weird, but is there any particular reason you publish a number of addresses?

Sorry if the question seems silly or weird, but is there any particular reason you publish a number of addresses? the growth of the addresses in my opinion is a good indicator of confidence
