It would be good to use Tips recursively in the acronym.
We also probably want to look at a smaller 50x50 pixel version of the coin design. Maybe just keep the inner part?

Might as well leave my input as I'm closely following this coin and hope it will succeed.
I always had a liking for recursive acronyms so my vote goes to a simple TIPS meaning ”Tips: Integrity Privacy Security”
This is the best one hands down. The colon after Tips makes much more sense than the other acronyms floating around. It defines what TIPS is all about: Integrity, Privacy and Security.

OK last one before i go! A bit modified on color... I honestly like the more colorful/alive/classy bronze version. The silver looks too muted. Can we all talk about something though? I LOVE the idea of changing the name to TIPS, but I don't like our acronym of "Total Internet Privacy Security". It seems very cheesy and actually doesn't make sense. No offense to anyone, for the idea or supporting it. I know some of you aren't native English speakers but that doesn't sound correct. Those of you who are native speakers already know this. How about: Transcended Internet Payment System or Talent Inspired Payment System or The Internet's Payment System or Tipping Increases Penis Size Talent Inspired Payment System

Tipping Increases Penis Size
Oh and it started... ...but at this point I am 100% sure it will all work. So many people involved, jokes flying around, general consensus.

Seriously guys, lets focus on the actual coin instead of what it means & throwing variations of the meaning around... I Myself am Guilty of it... lol
TIPS (Fedoracoin) is based on Tipping people, you know throwing some money into a hat aka (Fedora), it's plain & simple to understand.
Buskers performing on the street with a Fedora in front of them so when people walk by they Stop, Listen or look or whatever, TIP them for their efforts & if they like them they give big TIPS.
It doesn't matter what it means in a Crypto Currency besides that one reason it's designed for.
Products & Services can be bought with Fedoracoin (TIPS) & there is also and option that you can reward your Clients with TIPS Rewards so they can either sell them on a Exchange or save and Purchase a Product/Service with them.
When the Fedoracoin (TIPS) Payment Processor is finally done, Websites can implement it in for all of the above reasons...IMO
+ We the Miners are the Backbone of the whole Currency !

I see what you're saying but if the old fedora coin was about a finical tip then the fedora would be upside down. I spoke to one of the developers yesterday and he said it was a hat tip and not a finical tip. This discussion has to be had sooner then later. Is it a hat tip or a finical tip. and I'm sorry but the developers are the backbone then people that promote the coin then the people that are buying the coin and finally the miners and multipools that are just doing it for a quick buck and keep dumping the coin on cryptsy. The multi pools are breaking are backbone and we need buyers to come in. I tip my hat to you for trying to start an argument in the most crucial stage of this coin.

Ummmm how are transactions meant to happen then if no one mines ......So you need Miners !
And I'm not trying to start an argument, what makes you think that, I've been with TIPS from the very start.
Just I've seen a design change already from the community and it never happened, Unless it's from the Dev it's not going to happen.
"- The network pays the users (or miners) who process the transactions of the network with currency from the network. The difficulty of the data mining changes over time. It is based on the number of miners and how much processing needs to be done."

I don't want to come across as confrontational at all. Sorry. Ive been with tips since it spiked to 50 on coined up. That was me. Im a big buyer and I could claim that buyers are needed for a coin to survive. This is a pointless discussion because we're on the same team. I think the Dev team will listen this time as the community is growing based on the word TIPS and not fedora. I know I wanted to be with this coin (I'm all in by the way) because of the word tips as in a finical tip. We feel the same way and want this to be promoted correctly. Just enjoy the ride and we'll soon find out if its a fedora hat tip or a finical tip.

[IMG] Im really drawn to an upside down fedora hat with coins falling in but in silver There has to be a reason for EVERYTHING we do. The reason I like this idea is because it shows Finacial Tip and Coin Mixing and if its a fedora then its like a tip of the hat to the old name. Now the design font and look can be changed tweaked by all the graphic designers. I just want to get an approval on the image in the centre. IS an upside down hat (tipping) with coins falling in (coin mixing) an idea you like? Font in the middle idea. Could it be hand written font. Reason because its like on a tip jar? The acronym hasn't been approved either FUCK hang on just had a brain fart. this isn't a logo idea its an ad idea For the ads an image of an upside down chefs hat for tipping in a restaurant. An upside down bellboy hat for hotel tips, santa hat for tipping at christmas, jester hat for tipping entertainers, fireman's hat for tipping the service etc
