What impact would Darkcoin implementing Darksend have on the price/future of TiPS?
People know that darkcoin is going to be anonymous yet no one buys it. It won't effect tips at all, because tips brand is based on tipping not being anonymous. Two different markets! Looking at the volume of darkcoin, anonymity is not that popular as a selling point. Unless you have something to hide. If my coins were stolen id actually want to find out where they went, so as an investor the whole anonymity puts me off. I got into tips for its name and potential to tip content creators online. |

I think Darkcoin is a good concept, but basically Anoncoin offers similar features, and those guys are even planning on implementing the zerocoin protocol. Having anonymity features is a nice bonus for tips, it should definitely be mentioned, but focusing on this aspect would be strange. Tips is really more about tipping, but it definitely should be known to people that anonymous features are available, I mean, it is a really cool bonus feature. |

Yeah I posted about that a few pages ago also. Most people were strongly in favor of such an app. Any app creators out there? We have the perfect name for such an undertaking, and if this was readily adopted it would have a huge impact on the future of this coin. |

Agreed! This would totally push tips. Where are the skilled programmers willing to do this? There are a lot of unsigned musicians on YouTube that have large, loyal subscriber lists. A YouTube tipping app would allow their fanbases to make lots of small donations in support. |

I think it's got to do with the recovery of bitcoin from the Mt Gox debacle. Bitcoin has bounced back from 400 to 520, which in turn positively affects the altcoins as well. Tips, being by far the coolest altcoin out there (as everyone knows), is of resuming its rise from the day before yesterday. And it's slower than other alts, which imho shows that this is probably not a pump and dump, but a nice and steady rise. Go tips, go !!! |

i like this idea but this is old news. the current fad in crypto world is having own exchange inside the blockchain itself or something I'm not talking about chasing a fad. I'm talking about long term sustainability. |
