i had already some showing up in the wallet, about 200 GFT, now they`re gone....
and i found for sure 10 blocks...most don`t even show up in the wallet...

So just for future reference, why is it that I'm getting the message "Pool 0 slow/down or URL or credentials invalid" when trying to solo mine?

My .conf file was in:

C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\giftcoin

And had this in it:

server=1
listen=1
rpcuser=user
rpcpassword=password
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
rpcport=8855
addnode=199.241.191.148:8855
addnode=71.233.50.143:8855
addnode=216.66.72.62:8855

And yes, I was running Giftcoin-qt.exe with the -server tag.

This was my .bat file:

you have to wait until the wallet fully syncs before launching your cgminer...maybe that was your problem.

I figured it out. I was using rpcallowip= when I should have been using rpcconnect=

I wonder why most solo mining guides don't mention rpcconnect (I just happened to see it in one of my many .conf files that I must have copied from somewhere)?

solo mining works but very badly, i think its better to mine at pools

Low diff. at start and HIGH network hashrate = ton of orphans , coin is "milked" by the guys with farms.
