I know what you are talking about. It also just replaces the molex plug on the adapter cable with a floppy drive power plug. All the ones I sell terminate in SATA as well. I don't like that style because it puts the cables on opposite sides of the board, which will eventually pull them away from each other if they aren't bound well. I'll see if I can get the 1x boards that point that way, but it is unlikely. Unfortunately the pci card slots just aren't designed to hold something in place. A drop of hot glue will make sure they never move yet can be removed if needed.

Hello again. How many are you going to have in stock on the 20th? Not sure yet, but I might need 10-20 or more of them, shipped to Sweden. Would it be possible to have that many to be shipped in one order? Also,  any rebate for a larger amount?

I'll post it the day I get them in stock. I don't want people getting mad or going to the site and not seeing the product in my list, and assume that something is wrong. Once I get these in stock, they will always be in stock. I'll have other style cables and power supply products soon as well.
I cant get them to work, the card doesnt show up in Afterburner or cgminer, just "Usb Controller" in device manager under other Devices

I have huge amounts coming in next week. It will just be an issue of how many packages I can actually pack and ship each day. Taruntj, there is nothing USB related on these cards, it just uses the cable. You have a driver issue. Try Linux!

The first big batch of orders will ship out TUESDAY. When I first said monday I didn't realize it was a holiday. Holidays really disrupt people that have lots of work to do! Then I will be shipping daily, should be current in 2-3 days with my orders arriving daily again.

Hi,

Can i used any standard USB3 A to A cable on this risers?

Possibly, but sometimes cables can cause errors. I've been running a bunch of computers with 5 or 6  6' cables now, no problems.

I found 2 types of USB3.0 A to A cables.

One is 5 wire in parallel , 4 USB2.0 + the drain(USB3.0, serves as gnd)
Second is 9 wire in parallel according to the USB3.0 pinout specifications here: http://www.interfacebus.com/usb-cable-diagram-30.html.

Can you confirm if it uses 5wire or 9wire parallel?

5 wire parallel is easy to get if needed.

They use full USB 3.0 cables, so what you are calling 9 wire is required.

Confirmed by checking visually or using multitester continuity?
The 5wire parallel looks the same as the 9wire parallel, needed to check the continuity to verify.

Sorry, what are you trying to achieve? They use USB 3.0 cables. There are 9 pins.

What i mean was that, the 5wire parallel usb3.0 labeled cable looks the same as the 9wire parallel, because the end male connectors are the same (usb3 type), so if you check visually, it really looks the same. The difference was the wire connectivity inside.

So to verify, it needs to be checked by multimeter's continuity

this will be useful if somebody want to change the cable

I've never seen a usb 3.0 cable listed the way you describe. Care to link to it? I've tried a big variety of cables from different companies, never had a problem.
