I haven't been able to get to the Directbet site for the last few hours, and still can't.

There were some problems accessing our website yesterday but everything has been working properly for the past few hours and we are working to ensure that it will work better in the future.

I still can't access it. Same message as I copied above in post #335 - that was TODAY, not yesterday.
(I'm aware of the problem yesterday - you may recall I participated in the thread).

Haven't been able to get in since I first tried about 6 hours ago.

Tried with IE and Firefox. Just before trying I had deleted cookies and cache from each browser.

Is Cloudflare a service you or your host site use?

TIP : How to take advantage of the new Flexible Odds feature

Lets say for example there is a Tennis match between two players and before the start of the match the odds of player A is 2.1 decimal and the odds of player B is 1.8 decimal and you place a bet of 1 BTC on player A.

You can now place a negotiated bet on player B at odds equal to or higher than 1.91 decimal to lock in a profit no matter who wins the match.

Lets say for example that you placed a 1 BTC negotiated bet on player B at odds of 2.1. If player A now takes a slight lead anytime during the match, the odds of player B will go up and your bet will confirm at the best available odds at that time, which might even be higher than 2.1.

If it does, you can now sit back and enjoy the match as you will earn 0.1 BTC if player A wins, and at least 0.1 BTC if player B wins.

Live MLB betting might only become available periodically during the games and not all the times, so you'd have to shop around. The reason for that is because we're still early in the season and the odds are not reliable, so we can either offer the bets at very low odds which I know you don't like, or take them off during that time.

Currently we take them off when the odds are not reliable, but we might change this soon to allow you to negotiate better odds, or take the lower odds if you still find them appealing.

Our odds are dynamic and change constantly. They can go as high as 1.92 / 1.92, depending mainly on how reliable they are.

While the theoretical hold may appear very high, our actual profit to date is just 3%, mainly because you have the advantage of picking only the bets that you like most that are in your favor and because we give part of it back through various bonuses and promotions to our most loyal customers. This profit margin is the minimum required to cover our operational costs. Should the profit margin increase in the future we will be able to increase the odds.

That's said, we have several big winners here so it's certainly possible to profit with existing odds.
