Two things: 1. Word to the wise please be careful with your bets and addresses while playing here. Unfortunately I had an incident this weekend that cost me .8 BTC. I placed a bet for .1 BTC at directbet and then copied another address that I was going to send to from my wallet. Unfortunately it seemed that my "copy" didn't take and I sent a second bet to directbet that I meant to go to another of my wallets. Unfortunately at directbet there is nothing you can do when that happens, you're screwed.
If that happens well in advance of the start of the game, and you notify us right away, we can cancel and refund the misplaced bet.
Otherwise, there is a way for you to place a bet that will not confirm immediately using the Negotiate Odds betting option.
This will give you the option to cancel the bet after the bet transfer arrives, for example when it was sent by mistake.
We explain it in the FAQ :
You can order a negotiated bet and set the minimum required odds to an unrealistic number, 1000 Decimal or +99900 American. Your bet can never confirm at such odds. After ordering the bet, transfer the amount you wish to bet and wait for your bet transfer to arrive.
As soon as your bet transfer arrives the Bet Status will be set to Negotiate. If you are no longer interested in the bet, you can cancel it. If and when you are interested in the bet, change the minimum required odds to the current odds and your bet will confirm instantly.
By doing it this way, you will have full control over when your bet is confirmed and with an option to cancel your bet if it was sent by mistake.
2. Why do you even show a bet as "negotiate" when the max bet size is 0? It's really annoying and doesn't make sense to me. If the max bet size is 0 then just don't show the bet as an option, since it won't even give you an address anyway.
Thanks for letting us know. It's a bug, we will get that fixed shortly.
