Can somebody explains more about the features that we see here:  http://counterparty.co/about/
I am an engineer but a newbie in cryptocurrency and related concepts. I think the first step for Counterparty adoption is to explain the features and benefits in simple way that anyone understands.

The wiki will have a page on use-cases which should often be updated, as we expect to discover uses beyond those we've already we've already thought of.

For now, is there some specific question you had regarding what is on the our 'About' page?

I'd appreciate someone that can answer/ or direct to an answer:

I have 2 addresses from which 1BTC each was burned.

These are blockchain.info addresses to which XCP was attributed on the blockscan

I understand that it is possible to unite them into one address. BUT HOW? is there an XCP wallet from which I can do this? it doesnt obviously show in blockchain. what's the process to "access" the XCP balance and unite it

someone answered above: "Send XCP from an address with XCP burned to another address". but how to I access the address with XCP burned?

Thank you.

A question: my antivirus is blocking access to/warning about the blockscan site. This only began to occur in the last few days. Is anyone else experiencing this problem? Thanks.

From what I see this report is stemming from WOT at https://www.myywot.com/en/scorecard/blockscan.com . There are reports stemming back from 2009?? However, I only registered the domain last year and have only actively used this year. So my best bet is the domain might have been registered in the past by someone else and perhaps used for other purposes.

http://www.google.com/safebrowsing/diagnostic?site=blockscan.com

There does not appear to be way to report false positives but I did leave a comment on WOT

Cheers

Thanks. It looks like McAfee has the URL blacklisted:

http://www.siteadvisor.com/sites/blockscan.com

I've already contacted WOT to report the false positive and it does appear that they have acknowledged this and reset the ratings.

If you would like to help you may also report the false positive where applicable

cheers

It seems to have worked as I am no longer receiving a block or warning! Great work on the explorer btw!

Thank you for your response.
I think a wiki page can solve the problem.
I think some examples of the features can help me get the idea better. like how counterparty work, or what is the user asset , etc.

By using the counterparty client

This will help you set it up.  - http://counterpartyd-build.readthedocs.org/en/latest/

If you are looking for a more user friendly client then you will have to wait until it is released.

Are you putting a space or something before the 'y'? Are you using an alternative keyboard layout? Try running with the option '--unsigned', and tell me what counterpartyd then prints out.

I think I tried everything, also w/o spaces and uppercase. In the meantime I burned using blockchain.info which worked fine.
If I will do more, Ill try using your proposal with '--unsigned'. Thank you!

That's odd... Are you sure it's not just delayed? Which transactions were involved?

So I lost an XCP that I had purchased due to a bitcoin blockchain reorg.

That's odd... Are you sure it's not just delayed? Which transactions were involved?

This created the order: 7537e9dc8febdd67ce505255db72be571f39ff0d8735ff7c7c2ce9fba9c4df08

Then there was a match for 1 XCP of the order

f4d4c35493d5b2d4615f3abb8556a2fbec2d5084824b9b10d4aded0cb0ac0ec8

Then I had 1 XCP at 1M3wvBm31kVJkzA5A2KwhWws7YGq9AYsKv

Then counterpartyd server console said blockchain reorg.

Now I have no XCP

If you are running a web-application with Counterpartyd, quote this thread with your website and an application description.

I would like to collect a list for a possible Public Relations Bounty that I will launch myself to give your site and application more visibility!

Are there any plans for how we are going to market XCP after the burn period?

Or are the features going to be marketing themselves? I am trying to see how XCP will be competing against MSC for this portion of the market. As well as predicting future price appreciation for XCP.

That was a 3rd party seller, which is selling XCP at that price. But mainly, how are we going to increase the demand in this coin? I have alot of marketing skills behind my belt, I can help.

I am trying to get something from the devs on how we will create the demand/Market XCP after burn period is over to see price appreciation.

Does someone want to sell XCP at a good rate (less than what I can get when I burn some)?
