I saw the recent glory of this coin that has been climbed to $60 each, but today it is 2usd, i hope that this coin will recover soon, and since that this thread has been started since 2014 this coin is consider as legendary in crypto world.. I'm watching about this project.

$60 means Counterparty (XCP) will has its price at nearly half of Ethereum.
I don't think XCP can hit this price in the near future; and don't think that it can hit half of Ethereum price whichever price Ethereum has at any specific point of time.

Sadly probably have to agree here. XCP is an example of a "faceplant" in crypto.

Whatever happened to that fork/snapshot to Counterparty Cash that was supposed to "moon" the coin? Some nerd in telegram kept telling me off when I insinuated that was being used to pump and dump in early 2017.

When I was experiencing problems with counterwallet I downloaded the desktop FreeWallet, and that works quite nicely.

Just import your same mnemonic phrase into there, generate a few addresses and hopefully it will come up again.

By any chance, can you confirm that your first wallet had the same address in both instances?

If it is, just try creating all 20 addresses and see if your address #2 is one of the ones that comes up.

Thank you for the tip. unfortunately yesterday I slept and forgot the computer connected with the notepad (without saving) connected with my information on the wallet. I lost these coins. Today I read more articles on the web and saw some extra tutorials on YouTube, I believe that I made some mistakes ... but today I already made another portfolio and sent funds so far, this is all legal, I'm correcting the actions and getting more information. very cool this platform i ill make more tests. I am sending only small amounts because I am still learning, 100k SAT and 2XCP seem to be enough to make all functions work. Hello, I would like to say that the platform is works very well. I did several tests, numeric and named coins, Blockchain preview tests, sending and receiving, all working 100%. There is only one thing that is sending me error message, when I will open or close a purchase or sale order that I left open the following message appears:

how should I proceed to close open orders? Does this error message indicate anything wrong in my particular wallet? tomorrow as the boy told me I'm going to download the wallet to PC and make new tests ...

Cryptodinosaur But I don't think we will ever see XCP price near ATH level - anyway I hope to some progress  - at least with DEX better operation  - to make using XCP DEX easier and cheaper...

Cryptocurrency industry figures were celebrating a tech innovation of a different kind this week after the Bitcoin network transmitted what many are calling the first space meme.

A MEME TO ‘GO DOWN IN HISTORY’
The latest first to come from Bitcoin development company Blockstream’s Satellite network, an unknown source sent the developer known as grubles an encrypted Pepe meme via the Lightning Network-powered setup.

Pepe, which has endured online and even offline as a popular – albeit not always positive – meme, appeared for grubles in the guise of Bitcoin Car Talk podcast presenter Mikeinspace.

The latter’s Twitter account is now known as ‘1st Pepe In Space.’

“This would be the first Pepe to be transmitted exclusively via satellite, and so it’s fitting that the card  relates to (Mikeinspace),” an accompanying transaction message reads.

The gesture gained immediate fame, with open source library and information resource Messari revealing Pepe was its most popular summary for February 28.

“Pretty sure this is going to be in the history textbooks for kids to study in Meme class,” Blockstream CEO Samson Mow added on Twitter.

As Bitcoinist reported, Blockstream Satellite broadcast its first message from outer space in January, in the form of a piece of text from an unnamed developer sent to grubles.

The implementation currently covers around 70 percent of the Earth’s surface, Blockstream aiming to expand it in order for anyone on the planet to send a Bitcoin transaction without internet access.

“Fees are paid using Lightning testnet (yes, that means free broadcasts!) and after a period of successful testing, the satellite API will switch to mainnet to become one of the world’s first bitcoin-powered satellite services,” the company confirmed revealing its user-oriented beta version in January.

Blockstream already offers various options for Bitcoin users interested in participating in the satellite network. Its official website tracks sent and queued satellite broadcasts, which are publicly visible.

Due to the market now it is impossible for us to predict whether the coin is dead or not,  even the coin price is very low in the market. Already we have some development going from the team but due to the market situation, the price of coin decreased a lot in the market.

Of course: there is Rare Pape collection - (Rare Pape cards) ×which  are counter party tokens and could be bought by Counterparty dex.

I have a question  about developements - are there any ideas to reduce transaction fees? Now most of assets are worth only few cents and is very unprofitable to send/trade them as it costs at least few cents of transaction fee for every transaction

it is a "rarepepe", a collectible asset on counterparty, and because counterparty operates over the bitcoin blockchain this allowed them to use the bitcoin satellite to put the first "Pepe in Space"

The BLUE chip (high value/token) will still be exchanged on the BTC_code chains.
There are dozens of BTC_code chains (at various speeds and cost/tx).

XCP just needs to see that and the fact that the project already has the tech/code/wallet/dex working.

ETH has ran into the same expensive TX cost issue once blocks fill up.  But only 5 chains run ether code base.

In the meantime the Dpos high TSP networks will see glory first.

But true, proven, decentralized chains are the BTC_code chains.
