There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

COINYE IS OFFICIALLY DEAD. NO ONE BUYS IT, HASH DROPPED, MINING UNPROFITTABLE + ALLEGATIONS ON TOP OF IT.

GOOD BYE COINYE, IT WAS OK (NOT SO NICE) TO MEET YOU.

Hashrate is dropped because 42 is very popular at now Smiley

Whoever is behind the @Coinyes4Free on Twitter.....good job. It's the ripest place to promote CoinyeCoin

I could not find such an account on twitter

It looks like it doesn't exist anymore. Sorry about that. Not sure what happened there...must be the lawyers lol

Hashrate is down which means difficulty is down, which means the remaining people mining happily. How many major news outlets covered 42 or any other alt besides doge in the last week? And how many covered coye?

Keep your FUD, sell me your coye at 1 satoshi, and good day to you.

Now I'm mining ~5,000,000/day just for interest, what will happen
It wont kill me in any case

I'm always laughing from guys who tells that HURR coin is dead and they will buy @ 1-5 sat. So why you are buying when coin is going to be dead? Only for that coin is not dead and you are still praying for adding it on cryptsy and make some money on panicked fools who believed you.

does anyone know how to setup GUIminer-srypt to mine Coinye? I got the pool/worker all setup but its constantly saying "connecting" in the log file. I have no problem using command line BFGminer, but would prefer GUI miner since i used that back in the day with Bitcoin.

Coinye devs need to setup a forum on the official site for us to discuss this coin. Nothing worst than a start up and not having any way to ask people for help. If they had a Coinye official forum then at least you know the people hanging around also are into Coinye so they will help asap.

Just because a coin has media coverage doesn't mean it's going to be a success.

What's a better indicator?
