Here is the link to my trust settings here on forum. This trust system is very unfair. I make good on every deal Ive ever made. I had many, many deals as you can see and I never scammed anyone. All it takes is a random account to give you negative trust and youre screwed. Tomatocage has never even talked to me ever but when the random acct hit me with negative trust, Tomatocage came right behind him and marked neg trust again so obviously he was the one who did it. You can look at Tomatocage trust and see how many of his compeditors at the currency exchange thread he labeled scammers. I never scammed anyone. My trust was green over 20 before this. I hope it never happens to you because the mods cant help you.

I sent an email to their "contact us" email address with the confirmation email in it. No reply yet.

It seems this happened when I tried to withdrawl 100% of the COYE coin. My balance came back as negative (-0.00000020) and the withdrawl never came through. My other withdrawls of whole number COYE have come through immediately.

sounds to me like they didn't program the math correctly for the transaction fee, and the cURL request error'd out

So does that mean they have my coins and can send them to me or am I just screwed?

One more good idea added and sent to the devs here & via email (no response yet, lol)

First, let me preface this by saying i'm a big supporter of this coin, primarily due to the media attention and the apparent marketing strategy to roll this out to the general public. I think this has been a fantastic approach thus far. But since yesterday things are feeling rushed and (in my opinion) some pretty big mistakes are being made. Below are some points i'd like to make (and will try sending to the devs directly). This comes from 10+ years of web/online product development:

1. Remove BUY COINYE (and alter)
Selling at an arbitrary price puts a real bad taste in people's mouth, especially before a market has been established. Right now there is 0Day, and the coins are moving right around 1/5th what you're trying to sell them at.

I don't think there's any issue with you selling them, but it NEEDS to be at a fair market price, not what you hope they are worth.

Remove it now, roll it back out again when there's a healthy market. Then sell them at going market prices. This would allow people to either mine or invest, their choice.

2. Pick a single website
Right now things are getting split up between http://coinyeco.in/ and http://coinyecoin.org/ ... getting confusing and will hurt the newbies in finding the correct starting point and knowing which is the "official" site.

One problem already is that this site: http://coinyecoin.org/ does not have the same wallet as this site: http://coinyeco.in/

p.s. find a way to have people download from the official site, again it's about perception and mega will throw newbies off as to WTF am i downloading from this site.

3. Explain Cryptocurrencies
The final site definitely needs a "What is Cryptocurrency, What are Wallets, Etc." section. You need to assume that people only know that Bitcoins exist and have a vague idea of what they are. Explain how you can buy/mine them, hold them on their computers, etc. and how they can use them.

You can also take this opportunity to show that cryptos have legit fiat value. Point them to the major exchanges where they can see BTC vs. US/Euro, etc.

There are many sites where this information could be copy & pasted from, but they need to reside on the COINYE site, not just as links.

4. Better Explain Downloads/Using Wallets & Miners
Right now the wallet resides here: http://coinyecoin.org/ and has a link to a pastebin page for nodes. This is too "insider" and only people who mine would get/trust this. Again make a page explaining what the wallet is, why they need/want it (this is where you'll store your "investment"). explain receiving/sending via addresses, etc.

Adding nodes needs a step-by-step guide on the site (with screenshots) explaining the whole coinyecoin.conf process, what it does, etc. Otherwise a lot of people would get scared randomly putting random IP addresses into a file on their machines.

5. Buying Bitcoins
Listing http://localbitcoins.com/ to me is a bit too insider to have this as the only option. Compared to the process of something like Coinbase it's bit daunting. Especially when part of it refers people to potentially buying "face-to-face" can be perceived as an illicit transaction/seedy.

Make a page on "How to buy Bitcoins", include the major/trusted exchanges with a brief description of the different processes and give users choice.

6. Explain false positives in the wallet software regarding some anti-virus/malware
Again, if the target audience isn't people like me in this forum, you need to hold their hands and explain that certain anti-virus will flag this as malware and tell them what is happening and why.

7. Focus on minor markets before Cryptsy
Unless you have a legit dialogue going with Cryptsy, some have said getting on CoinedUP and/or CoinEX type sites helps accelerate a Cryptsy listing.

8. Get Altcoin community involved somehow
It looks like everything is being done behind closed doors, which is fine, but you could utilize an enthusiastic crowd to help better promote the coin either through giveaways, bounties (for sites, messages, tweets, etc.) or the like.

Tbh i dont think this coin is worth anything. I am still mining it but difficulty is not raising while there is enough hashrate, also payout being halved every 100k blocks wich takes some time. This means every day more and more coins are being mined. Price can only go down not up.
