OK, what is the plan now ?
Lets organize as community and vote at some serious exchange cryptsy or mintpal.
For now biggest exchange that trade volt is cryptorush.
Lets pick exchange and start voting start of the next week.

If you like the idea please post reply here. The point of that is to see if there are anyone who is interested.

Exchanges add coins that have, or have the potential for, high volumes.  That's how exchanges make their money.

They don't add end-of-life coins.

The only reason Volt was on CryptoRush is because it's owned by the guy who created Volt ("DeviantTwo")

Just sell your holdings (or at least try to) and move on.  There's always another alt-coin around the corner to lose money on.

The coin is dying because the developer is violently neglecting it. I've been with the coin for quite a while now holding on, and I still plan to; but for the love of doge give the coin to another developer who is actually willing to put even an ounce of time into it. I understand the current dev is working on Cryptorush; but ironically enough his own coin is one of the most dead on the very exchange he runs. Heck, Fedoracoin with a 500billion volume is almost more expensive than volt with only 10b volume, that alone is saying something.

Just please, for the sake of actually doing something with this coin, let others take it over or go through with actually fixing the things that are needed. I'm not doubting the developers ability, saying I can do better, or putting him down in any way. He is busy and has other focuses, and that is precisely why this coin should be focused on by someone who has the drive to do so.

Hope this is considered. I really like this coin; but there has been a noticeable difference in potential with this coin over the past month (pun proudly intended).

Devianttwo has repeatedly written on this forum that he is looking for someone to takeover the coin. I have sent numerous messages to the dev that I have a team that is willing to 'take-over' the coin without cutting him out... to which he never replied.

This coin has been a disaster since launching and devianttwo has refused to acknowledge or accept help.

As for the comment from Promethium about devianttwo being too busy, whatever happened to Spudcoin and all the other coins the HacksHard team were going to launch? It pretty obvious that coin launches are something you have wisely chosen to not become involved in. But I do congratulate you on the success of CryptoRush, an exchange I use quite abit.

I am not interested in a hostile takeover... but I do the resources to rebuild this coin... all that is needed is an acceptance of that help.

The offer is there...

I write, on behalf of other members.

YOU NEED TO TAKE ACTION YOURSELF, because THE DEV HAS ABANDONED THIS COIN.

JUST MAKE AN ANNOUNCEMENT, LIKE SOOPY DID.

Most of us are not technically competent to manage this coin, we are just traders.

GO AHEAD, GATHER YOUR TEAM AND MAKE YOUR ANNOUNCEMENTS, PLEASE DO NOT ALLOW THIS COIN TO DIE.

We accept your offer to help ELECTRIC COIN.

Or .... sell your coins and buy Bitcoin  (BTC is only $580 at the moment, which is very cheap).

Developer confirmed via irc that this coin will  not be removed from cryptorush.in, since he plays an influential role in that project as well. This means volt will always have at least 1 exchange it is on; but it would be nice if the coin itself got some attention for a change...

This coin is just being neglected. The dev needs help, but refuses to communicate with technical members that are willing to help this coin.

http://volt.dedicatedpool.com/index.php say they "took volt offline because it was using way too many resources"
So scratch that off the list of mining pools for now!
