This coin has had so many failed opportunities at this point..  I don't even know if cryptsy is enough to save MRC.

Why you say that? The exchange that microcoin will be featured on hasn't launched yet.

Darkcoin, the only fungible crypto currency.

Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

Because I don't see anyone actually using that exchange, and this community has ignored every opportunity to go "public" in the mean time.  Look at Vertcoin -- that could have been MRC!  Hell, even the premined shitcoin UTC is 3x as profitable to mine as MRC at this point.  If I had known that there were no plans to market this coin I never would have mined it, and now I'm sitting on a huge pile that's now worth less than .5 BTC and dropping rapidly.

People are looking for good new exchanges, look how young exchanges like mintpal and poloniex have great volumes already.
Microcoin will add leverage as well as money and menpower from the IPO. Real marketing starts after the IPO is finished, if we still need it then.

IMHO the next weeks are the very last opportunity to buy or mine some cheap microcoins.  Cool

A little bit off topic from the exchange theme, i'll suggest some miner to come with thier own hash power to: http://mrc.coinsprofit.com/ .
I'm not owner, nor mod or gaining from this, just moved there after my payouts went ridicolous on nut2pools. Here we're so few miners we get less block but so much payouts. I've made almost 1,3 milions with 280x and 270x in less than 72 hours..

First, with current difficulty and rewards level you should have gotten at least 1.5 million in 3 days.
So there is no miracle in your earnings.

Second, I can only see two miners at the pool, one mines at 15 KH/s and another one at 418 KH/s.

Which one is you?
Assuming 270x gives 200-210 KH/s and 280x gives 280-300 KH/s.

my user is ale******

this is my experience, tested on the field..why are you counter saying this?  You should know that stats on pool are not so accurated. However my two cards are giving each 190 & 280 kh/s ... and if you think in a proportional system pool if there are many user and my hash is one of the lowest i will get less than if there is a pool where we're just in two /three miners and we get each 160k blok mrc divided by 3 almost..don't know why you are so sure about your statement but mine it's just expierence by myself, and the payouts doesn't lie. (and of course no fees in this pool)

take it easy and spread MICROS!

forgetme, don't take it personal.
Starting from day one this pool showed some weird statistics, that's why I didn't have trust in it and that's why I show other people some reasonable doubts.

Like you, my earnings at nut2pools were low (I would say 10% lower than I expected), but coinsprofit didn't seem to be a better option.
As of right now I'm using mining-pool.co.uk.
Let's see if Brits can maintain it properly.

That whole leverage thing is going to blow up in their face..  The whole 'trade at 10x what you have, and if you lose it all, we'll cover you' is at best ill-advised, and at worst a direct scam.  In either case, I don't see how Alcurex will help MRC, only how MRC will help Alcurex.

The concept of leverage should be similar to Forex.
It'll make trading more interesting for some gamblers.

Just for the record, I'm as British as they come - born, bred and living in London. Wink

As for the low income, what, when, why??  How were you calculating your expected income?  As i said previously here, you need to look at and understand the "Blocks" pages. Nearly all coins and all pools run at best at an AVERAGE of ~%110 block time (meaning 10% under the calc estimates) meaning your 10% down is about spot on. Also you do understand that they will vary due to variance which is the very nature of mining? Also keep an eye on your invalids (ignore pool invalids) as this will affect your income - 5% invalid = 5% drop in income.

Pools are simple animals, they count user shares and when one of those shares is block worthy, it divides the block by the number of shares and then pays the users depending on the number of shares they submitted, the rest is luck and us lowly ops have no control over lady luck unfortunately.

A little glimpse of the future projects of microCoin related projects with alcurEX.

These services will either be exclusively for microCoin or will have the option of USD or microCoin.

We will start working on these after leverage is fully functional and USD markets have been added.

Just came back here to see what is the happenings Smiley

"Block Count:
161312"

That is that! Alright! Reward reduction has arrived. Less coins = more value

I see some buy orders piling up and I could not fill my long shot 1 satoshi orders. Was worth a try.
Now 2 satoshi is going away looks like.

Also I think the alcurex page the MCR just posted is really attractive.

So now every day there are 2% less coins to mine. That's a drop. And good for value.
The Nfactor kicks in and the exchange is coming.

So I'm watching. The nice thing about owning coins at 1-4 satoshi is there little room to fall down.
Buying a coin that's at 25 satoshi and to see it go to 3 would suck. So we can start with a safety net.

So anyways.. Combining everything I have seen the last few weeks. All this good
news coming out for value increase potential. And the fact that whales don't just buy coins
and then walk away forever and lose their money. They come back. I have seen the whale
put his coins at 50 satoshi to show he is there. Is he saying "hey this is the target"? I hope so.
I have seen that before. 50 would be something else... for sure.

This game is not for kids with ADD. You have to have patience
if something really looks good then stick with it.

Just a matter of time.

Every day now there are about 2% less coins that can be mined.
Difficulty is not relevant to the total (mined by everyone combined) amount of coins generated per day

Difficulty is only relevant to how many coins you get of that amount.

Therefore the coin supply total will continue to rise but much more slowly as each day passes.
It's a reward reduction.
