I don't know how to compile either so I certainly don't want to throw the blame around. Now does anyone know how to compile the windows wallet? I'm sure a bounty would be in order for it.

Because you don't press a magical button and do it.

Windows is a pain in the butt and that is why I stay away from it.

Yes, there is a 10k SMC bounty.

You might want to put the bounty in the OP as well.  I noticed that the linux wallet linked in the OP is 6 weeks old, is this the correct wallet?  I'm still holding some SMC, thanks.

I am going to try and teach myself to compile and see if I can get it working, but I found a guide that might be helpful for someone a little more technically inclined than me so we can get the windows wallet going. Good luck to anyone who attempts it.

I agree, imagine this coin being 0.10$ each ^^, Would love that!

BTW Make the announcement here too https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=159.0 as an overall announcement
Maybe even both announcements. That we are looking for someone able to compile the wallet. And the new features of Smartcoin, reward reduction and all that.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=67.0

Just write that shit everywhere! Grin

then the developer must do this because it will keep correspondence with the person who will work on the project and he will reward the man who made new wallet

but it can do some other who knows English well to describe very well what it is

To compile source code on Visual Studio is easy... I dont quite understand what is hard about it? Take source code, press CTRL+F5... Go to the directory that the .EXE is now in and there it is.

Did you include:

#include <openssl/dh.h>
#include <openssl/bn.h>

or possibly just:

#include <openssl>

and do you have openssl installed?

You also need to make sure boost for windows is installed. and add:

#include <boost>

Make sure boost is one of your sources in VS
