Sorry dev no offense, but you are destroying this coin with your incompetence. How much time per day do you devote to this coin? 30 minutes? How can you possibly not be able to compile a Windows wallet? Everyone can use Windows on a Virtual Machine and compile shit down. We can do it but the wallet has to come from you because people want the wallet to be from an official source. Pools are on the wrong fork, website is down, no Marketing and no signal from the developer because he is probably trying to find out how to compile a Windows wallet. Well it's not that easy like on Linux. Waiting for a miracle? Coin had so much potential and you wasted it, I started out with this coin from the beginning but lately my optimism faded away and I realize we're just putting lipstick on the pig.

Windows compiling is pretty difficult and annoying to do so I understand the dev's resistance to compiling Windows...but I can see where you are coming from.

He sold or moved all the premined coins

http://altexplorer.net/address/SQJdz9FwYWowrGXdg47Jiv2mLqm3qwcnRK

Maybe he lost interest to his own coin now. Many times i asked him what he did with those coins but he did not reply.

I see no point in all these accusations. I wish dev would be more active too - But im sure everyone able to help dev with development work is very welcome to help. If you aren't doing shit yourselves, then you shouldn't blame dev.

This is the new world, you can't just buy some cryptocoins and expect everything to be fine and the prices to climb at your will. It doesn't work that way.

Hmm.. Yea he used or moved them, there will probably be a good explanation, maybe the new partnership he is making. At these prices, he wouldn't even make 2 btc if he sold all the premined coins.

Hashcows has been mining the wrong fork ever since block 120,000 when we went from 64 coins/block to 16 coins/block.  I can only assume they have been selling them at cryptsy.  The dev said earlier that hash.so is officially the correct fork.  Unless he changes his mind that would mean all those coins hashcows has mined since block 120,000 never really existed and that cryptsy is likely on the wrong fork as well and is still allowing coins to be deposited and traded.  That would likely get SMC delisted from cryptsy and cause a whole downward spiral of the coin.  Also, hash.so is still not paying out any SMC, not even showing unconfirmed or confirmed coins after days of mining.

Also Dedicated Pool is on the wrong fork.

You are welcome to promote the shit out of this coin! Go promote! Cheesy
Start with every blog and forum about crypto/altcoins, yea maybe even bitcoin forums too. Remember to tell about the changes to the coin, like the reward reduction, the new wallet, and all the other good news.
Something about this coin being at its lowest right now, and its a good time to invest.

I'll even give you a smc bounty for every post/article you write.

1500 SMC for each one. Im not a developer or anything like that, i am just a happy investor looking to get this coin going again  Wink

I've withdrawn from my cryptsy account. I have no idea what fork they're on. It shows as failed on their website. Please do not trade on cryptsy until I resolve this.

This is proof that cryptsy is on the wrong fork and has been every since block 120,000.  I'm not sure you guys understand the gravity of this situation.

Maybe we can have a small summary on the first page which shows if exchanges/pools are on the right fork until everyone is updated....this is getting a bit messy, could mess up the coin.

Dev is so reckless, who is gonna do that?
I thought he is going to be more interested in the coin.
But things are not going that way, also the price...

I am pretty sure, if it comes to a good price he will dump everything and leave the coin die as everybody else.
I am so sorry to say these but things are heading that way despite the fact that I love this coin and holding some good amount of it.

Yeah I dumped half of my coins and didn't take to much of a loss as I bought around 550-500 ish ...dev is wack Imo I think community should take over this coin.. its obv dev isn't interested and competent enough to take care of a virtual currency.. Ill hold on to the other half of my coins till it hits 0 or rises as I bought in on them around 750-800 sats.

It's a bit over-simplified to say the dev is reckless. There's loads of work to be done for this coin, it's understandable he can't do that on his own. As far as I know he is also the only official dev for this coin?

We can't blame it all on the dev, although I have to admit, communication could be better.

I also hold some coins which I mined, bought at "high" price and some bought at the cheap todays.

Will try to start a new unofficial Smartcoin support thread if that's allowed here.

Maybe a bit, but it does not change what is happening. Also I dont think there will be anyone to complain on a new thread since it is already not cared much here.
