even if the intent wasn't malicious, just laziness or incompetence, I think after a/some week(s) of no fixes or even updates, it becomes a scam no matter what

Lame.

I came here to see what was going on after seeing the shutdown posting on the Pool. Sad

Too bad it was a good pool. I mined there for monthes with no troubles. I always got my payments.

Claims of no support.. so what?! It ws up until very recently a free pool, of course theres no support. The thing generally worked, and kept up with most new coins. It did better then many other pools that Ive tried.

The only way you can lose a large number of coins at a pool is by not paying attention. You get to set the payments, you get to set how much sits in the pool. There is NO reason to leave large amounts of coin sitting on any pool. Its foolish to do so. If you let your miners run for a long period without paying out, then its your problem. Watch your miners.

Sorry to see you go hash.so You were a good pool.

Kidding ?

Man, don't talk when you don't know what you are talking about.

I agree it was the best pool, good admin, ect, ect, but the communication was bad.

Since more than one month ago, we can't get our Digibyte coin, because the administrator telling us he will repair the problem, but finally 1 month after it, he close the pool and said "we can't give you the coins" .....

Now ok, it's over, good luck admin in the futur, but you "mystix" pls don't tell me if i paying attention or not about my coin in this pool.

Not kidding.

You can't lose what you don't keep on pools long term. Keep an eye on your miners and your wallets, if you stop getting payments, you stop mining that pool. Done.

Instead what we have here is people whining for days about how they built up millions of coin and cant get payouts. ..then they continue to complain about how they kept on building up coins even after that point. That is ridiculous.

Watch your miners. Watch your wallets. When 1 of the 2 stop functioning as expected, move to a different pool. Do that and you can't lose large numbers of coin on a pool, ever.

If you want to be lazy and come back in 2 weeks without getting any payouts, then expect instant support from someone who has consistantly said he has a life outside the pool. Well that is your problem not his.

For the record just got dont moving out my coin crumbs from hash.so accounts as directed. All those amounts under the autopay limits I had set.

LTC RDD Karma Leaf Mint and many others. I've received every one of both the manual and adjusted auto pays that I put in.

Thanks hash.so. Wish you were staying.

POSTED NOW ON POOL

Great job not updateing OP or bumping this thread Prick.

Thx for the Lost coins and stuck Payments as well AssHat.

Quote
Pool is closing end of April. If you have any coins anywhere, please setup an auto payout / request manual payout. Some pools have forked, so we might have lost some coins. Some pools are just stuck, those I will fix before I close everything down.

Thank You for mining with us. And I'm deeply sorry I let you down. My life just got too busy a while ago Sad

I might end up handing over all the software to a friend of mine, who might start the pool again, so watch this space! Smiley

Happy mining,
Hash-so

Arghhh. The post suggests to make a manual payout, but it's not possible since it's already been tried before (without success).

"You already have one active manual payout request."

Can you please fix this manually?

To anyone thinking this pool(s) a scam, has not been around long enough to realize they jumped from 1-5 coins to over 30 within two months time.
The admin did an amazing job when there was a few coins with large hashing power for each. I can understand how busy things may have gotten and with the recent down swing in prices it may not be worth it to keep up a server with that much dedicated power, and time. There is now an ANN on top of the pages at hash.so
I have been paid out over 2.5m Doge, 40 LTC, and 1.5m CSC from hash.so alone over the course of the last few months.
When i started noticing less communication and support I switched pools. You should have done the same. Atleast you didnt get goxxed.

Im still waiting for my 62k DGB, you said you are going to fix the issues giving users the option to get their coins out before
you shut it down?

Well then stop talking **** and get to work!
