Yesterday we had a great result with VOS. Benefitting from this, the world has to know we are at VOS. We need people to know the world they can buy Nobles for dollars. So, who is going to make a press release for this achievement? And how many comm-members are going to retweet etc. On twitter I am following noblefans and retweet their tweets, accounts like; noblecoin, miKnutty, murkster, cryptowhale, Jean-Pierre Buntinx, altcoin herald, crypto articles and maybe 1 or 2 more. Is this all? There are over a 10,000 Noble-wallets and we have not more than 10 people tweeting about noibleCoin. This ain't gonna work. We even don't have to figure it out ourselves what should be done, things are simple, just look at Doge and Blackcoin. These coins are going in a bigger speed because of the large community. A large community is essential, the more people, the more capacity, the more knowledge. We have a solid framwork. We are achieving some goals. But our community isn't growing (much). Like in all other new businesses speed is important. You don't have to have the best product (allthough quality is needed), you have the world to know you have a good product, so they will take it before they take someelse product with the same quality. Just starting with twitter; communitymembers, follow the names above and retweet positiv NobleCoin tweets whenever you see them. Lets do the same for all socialmedia. Regarding press-releases. Let someone make a goodlooking pressrelease for every positiv achievement we made and spread the news. To reach a final goal of getting widely accepted, we have to have a good functioning organization. Weak chains will decrease the growing speed a lot.

Does anyone know why VoS added us? Has someone been in contact with them, or is it purely because of market cap and our previous comments?
On 21 april, I wrote them a mail. Have no idea if my mail was any help. Doesn't matter anyway, we are there and that's nice. The mail went like this ( copy/paste without names) ; Me; Dear sir/madam, Would you consider adding Noble coin? At the moment 24 hrs volume on poloniex is 240 btc. Regards, XXX VOS: Hello XXX I appreciate your suggestion and will pass it on to our CEO. If you have any other suggestions feel free to voice them. Regards YYY Me; Hi YYY, thanks for the quick reply. Kind regards, XXX Thanks for the continued support and to the rest of the community as well! Like I said, I have NO idea if my mail helped and it doesn't matter anymore. What I would like to point out is that we have use our achievements to grow further and quicker. The moment I saw us having a 240 btc volume on poloniex. I felt the urge to use it for our benefit. So, I saw this as the right moment to approach VOS. In my opinion VOS was far away for NobleCoin(not because of our quality, but because of our volume). Without any volume my mail to VOS would be useless, I guess. Same thing now with addition to VOS. Spreading the news will see others that we are treated as a serious coin, so new businesses will treat us the same. But when nobody knows.....nothing happens.

However, I have an idea of anouther subpage, for displayng current hashrate and difficulty / (similarly to a Dashboard in almost every pool) / and maybe pools share, but presented with more frequent refresh, like 2 seconds, and with detailed hashrate chart of the last 24h for example ?
You don't have that kind of detailed info at the blockchain level :/ The pools have it because they see miner shares, which are used to keep track of work, but the vast majority of shares never end up in the blockchain or the network, actually all shares but one in a pool's round are discarded. At the blockchain-level, hashrate is only inferred from the time between blocks, so it's meaningless in instantaneous terms, and only significant when averaged over several blocks, so it doesn't tell a different story from the difficulty. The only indicator that hashrate changed drastically is because you have a bunch of blocks coming in rapid succession, or a long delay. But even without a multipool, this can happen randomly.

On the BC-forum, I saw this; www.blackcoinmap.com/ and really liked it. Could someone make that for NobleCoin. I will donate 200k Noble for the person that makes it ( from 4 to 11 may, I am on holiday, if the map gets ready in this week I can pay on 12 may). For someone who likes to make it; maybe some extra info can be found on BC-forum pages 1364/1365. Further did I make 5 donations on Noblesteps, but not all charities have wallets added. I will add 25k Noble to that bounty. I'm in too, will also give 25k. Shouldn't be too hard, just a database of all the suppliers locations, then pass it to someones map API. Not that I am volunteering! Would be cool to take a screenshot every x months to show the growth of Noble worldwide. Shouldn't be too difficult to create, do you have other requests or things that would be nice on the site? Think this really is a good addition and quite easy to accomplish. Hi, thanks for supporting the idea as well. You asking me about other ideas, in no particular order, I wrote down some things that just came up. Regarding other ideas; when I open http://earthcointalk.org/what-is-earthcoin/ for instance, I see a nice video where things are explained. This is something I miss on https://www.noblemovement.com/. Newbies will google NobleCoin and arrive at https://www.noblemovement.com/. This is the place where we have to steal there attention. A clear and classy video, first of all referring to another video called something like; "explanation of Noble coin to newbies" then an explanation of our ideas, our plans for the future, how to get NobleCoins, our merchants and at last an explanation of the https://www.noblemovement.com-site itself would be very good, I think. Further might a restyle of the frontpage be a good idea; I don't like the white background so much. Then about the text, the first text on the site a newbie is going to read is this; "NobleCoin is a peer-to-peer payment system and digital currency similar to Bitcoin and was released in 2014 by crypto-enthusiast ‘Rofo’ and the NobleCoin Team. NobleCoin uses cryptography to control and secure the creation and transfer of wealth. It is fast and secure with transaction times of under 30 seconds. A 1 block re-target protects NobleCoin from multi-pools (essentially making it very similar to Kimoto’s gravity well)". How on earth does he know where we are talking about? A simple introduction video, has to something like this; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Um63OQz3bjoor like this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YrNnrvet7AoLike I said, just a couple of things that got my attention. Yes I totally agree and I have this "simple" idea to create a page with all "improvements" we see as a community. I know that ZBBBB is working on a project website / tracker, this however in my opinion is for larger changes or with more impact. Simple initiatives from the community make this coin grow to it's real potential, for example there have been several requests for a change of the landing page. Why don't we get all our opinions bundled, work out the idea and give the feedback to Rofo.... Sounds like how it should be to me; there is request for demand, somebody translated that to functional requirements and somebody designs it. So let's bundle all improvements, create a MOSCOW list (must-should-could-won't haves) and then get rewards for each one (think we still have some coins left from the last meme and video contest). I saw this website, http://www.allcryptocoins.ca/ in my opinion REALLY nice siite, it could be used for posting our MOSCOW list. We could or anybody could just pick up an improvement from that list and get rewarded. Might not be picked up directly but when we get extra attention again, who knows what might be picked up. Hope it is clear that I do NOT want to create a separate development team or whatever, just give everybody a "platform" to pick up improvements make it as simple as possible we have around 500k left in the community fund. I can give the exact number later today.

When the community has something worth retweeting about just post it here or create an extra thread solely for that purpose, just so we don't clutter this one. Anyway, I usually retweet stuff from Noblecoin and miknutty, but I don't have that many followers myself.

Sorry guys had been out for a while with a stomach bug, long story short not fun. I had been bugging VoS for weeks now trying to get us added as I personally felt it was a crucial piece of us doing more public and non-crypto projects. I felt we needed a route to secure Noble with fiat and use that to our advance. With that being said, I think we need to start some local projects to really start building some steam in the non-crypto realm. If anyone has any ideas or suggestions or would like like to head a project, please let me know @ Projects@noblemovement.com. Thanks all!

Hello ZBBBB, Yes I really think a project page would be great as you talked earlier about. Allowing the more technical people to post what they are building and doing, also giving people more insight information about ongoing projects. I have been thinking about creating a simple list of things that we "community" would like to improve / get involved. Not directly a project list but just small improvements / idea's, then we can rank these improvements (MoSWoC list) and link a reward to it. Things as a promotional video, write a clean text to explain NobleCoin, etc could be on there. We could post it all on this site, seems to be supporting NobleCoin: http://www.allcryptocoins.ca/

This afternoon I have been thinking about our charity projects. Untill now there aren't many charities that accept cryptocoins. Maybe we should try to get a leading role in this area. NobleCoin and charities are a good fit, I guess. We might be able to perform a lot better for the charities and last but not least for ourselves. In the future when digital currencies are more widely known, it might be normal that charities have altcoin logo's and wallet-addresses posted at their homepage. Lets take a leading role. We made a nice start with https://www.noblemovement.com/steps/. We can offer charities the chance to get listed at https://www.noblemovement.com/steps/ and in chance they have to add our Noble logo ( and of course their Noble-wallet-address) at their site. When we get our banner there, we can add behind the banner all kinds of info, including how to get NobleCoins...etc. How nice would it be to see a NobleCoin logo at this page; http://www.greenpeace.org/international/en/ under the tab donations together with paypal, creditcards...etc.

I would like to throw my two noble coin into the thread.
why don't we create a disaster relief fund, that way we can donate when it is needed, the whole world will know about the disasters so why don't we setup a "step" for it, that way we can donate to it when needed, and with VOS online it will be easy to convert to fiat when needed, but we are the "NOBLE" community, lets build a fund that is transparent and auditable, and provide relive as a quick response disaster relief crypto.
all for noble and noble for all
