If you are investing that amount in an altcoin then you should be putting it in something cheap but something good. So if you want the best chance of making the  most profit out of that money then you should be looking into investing it into coins like doge coin and ADA. Coins that are still very cheap but they have a lot of potential to make a lot of money for you.
