For this amount of money you can always choose some top currencies in little amounts like half into bitcoin and half into Ethereum. As for me personally I would do it like that.

I think you should invest this in ethereum and any other altcoin that has very good potential for you to earn a reasonable profit by the time you decide to sell the coin. Ethereum has a very good potential and can rise very fast.

I think you should invest in top 10 coins/token and don't buy ICO right now.
I prefer EOS, NEO, ETH, TRX, Vechain.
Just don't focus in one token/coin.
maybe you can divide it into 4-5 coins. You can do some research first before decide it too.

500$ is already a huge amount. For now the best thing you do is to put that amount into BTC or ETH investment and if you found a high potential coin then go invest for it. |

I can give one advice for you. I would suggest you buy established coins from the top ten like etherum and bitcoin and hold them for the long term. You might not have 2000% profit buy for sure, you would have a decent profit. Remember, for every investment, capital preservation is key.

Probably ether or altcoins with strong fundamentals would be better for you. As an example there are many Exchange Tokens such as binance, huobi, kucoin etc. Very strong fundamentals + high demand.
