in my opinion, you should share your money. do not all invest in one coin. maybe ETH and NEO are good for long term investment. If you choose investing more than 1 place, it's a form of strategy if there is one that does not work. still have a backup elsewhere.

Depends if $500 is a lot for you, if it is play it safer going for large cap coins like bitcoin but if not you can go for high risk and high rewards coins that have low market caps and high potentials. These can 10x very quickly or go straight to 0.
