If there are services worth mining and buying with KDC there is nothing to worry about with the halving. PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD can we stop talking about prices? Its like that is the only thing going through people heads.

Some talk about people being here for the quick buck, but for me it just seems that those saying that are here for the same reason.

So the price is really the only reason for people mining this? Is mining the coin everything?
The more hands the same coin switches the better. So if all of you stop talking about hashrate and prices that would be awesome. I contacted OK Pay to check if they would be interested but it was a no go on that.

Instead of nagging on eachothers arguments here go ask Ebay if they would like to add us. (Not really realistic but you all see my point).

I am personally thinking of registering a company and trading KDC -> Gold and Fiat in larger volumes. That might be interesting for some and maybe a gateway for people to get cash out and having a registered company and absolute transparency might be more appealing for the bigger crowd.

it is very good advise. why people wasting their time for simply replying for a daytrader who does'nt think

anything other than mine the profitable coin and make gains with buy low sell high. if you are serious then

promotion is the very important thing. consider bitcoin when it started only a very few started accepting it,

but when it gains wider acceptance with large merchants and shops, atms,  services based on bitcoins in a

large scale,  price goes to the level nobody things, [from 13 usd to 1200 usd( both in same 2013)], so in my

opinion even if kdc goes to 1usd/coin[ the speculative thing ], it will comes down if it lacks wider

acceptance, so with wider publicity and acceptance only a coin can sustain( and price will goes high along with it)

in the website. In the services section of website it doesnot mention about altoutlet also.

Without profit miners a coin will not have a robust diverse NET HASH.  A small committed community simply can not provide a large enough hash for the coin to be secure.  Like it or not a coin HAS to pay workers to hash the blocks.  Striking that balance of just enough pay for an adequate NET HASH is what I'm arguing.

But here it is another comment that people like me are destructive or not to be considered because we mine a coin and exchange those coins for BTC.  The truth is people like me simply put our assets to work, take all the up front risk and just want to be fairly compensated for our effort.  We're not trying to extort value from the coin or anyone else.  Finally we don't go around dumping coins on the market either, we are always seeking the highest price for our work.

I think the community that embraces workers will be stronger!  How profit miners got such a bad reputation is beyond me except for people are always looking for a reason why their coin isn't going to the moon.  Just look back in this thread, it's been too many coins rewarded, not on the right exchange, on and on...
 

I agree with jackdminer. These are harsh times for everyone. Profit miners mostly have bad reputation because of multipool miners who are blindly dumping their coins whatever the price. In a depleting market like the alt market right now, multipools are like a cancer for the coins. But I have to admit that I see the first signs that money is coming back in the alt market. I hope this will be confirmed in the next weeks so we will all make this coin succeed together.

• These votes for cryptsy seem to come from nowhere. I personally am responsible for 80 votes, that's just nothing in the total votes. What the heck, for mintpal, I paid for 10.000 votes and voted myself several times
• We experienced the bot on mintpal yesterday night.
• This coin has never been pumped before but it's really a good candidate with its fast 2 times halvening in the coming months so the miners won't be able to dump like crazy

Imo, buy now on the dips, because there are signs that you may never see such cheap prices again. This thing smells like a pump.

Someone knows how long it takes untill the kdc android wallet is finished ? I really need a possibility to take my kdc with me. Everyone has a phone and android is on most of them. So i could tell my friends about it and send them their first kdc on their phones. I dont want to make stress, i just want an approximate time when it will be finished.

Your analysis is good in the market right now, I will even say that the 7k mark in the bear market we experience now is unreachable. But you have to feel the market, when money will flow in again (and it will sooner or later, it's not a matter of if, but of when), the market will be crazy again and the 7k mark swept away.

The bot was tricky at start but now it seems to stabilize the price, even increase it up a little bit and a good mean to provide a steady volume. I don't like bots but this one seems to be smooth so far. Let's see how it goes.

definitely smells a pump as price of kdc [with a dedicated community and various services with in 3 months of launch, etc] is cheap with this rate, we can expect a pump if no purposeful market manipulation at cryptsy.   [ i think leaf is suffering it now at cryptsy]

Why don't one of the dev's or community leaders assemble a "prospectus" for potential investors in KDC?

Make it very visible here and on the main website, twitter, fb, etc..

That way investors can easily see what makes KDC a great coin and an even better investment.

EDIT: Just an idea but maybe translate into Russian, Chinese, and German also.
