We need a better exchange. Low prices is all well and good, but low difficulty is not.
I send a request to coinex.pw to add KlondikeCoin last night, havent heard back from them. In order for this coin to increase in value it's going to have to get on a large exchange if not  several large exchanges and, the miners will have to come back and start mining it hard. If this doesnt happen soon.....I hope this happens soon.

Coinex have said to us that no new coins will be added until they have finished some upgrades they are doing.

Were oretty much reliant on cryptsy at the moment Smiley but if it takes time then it takes time, we can work.with what weve got and move forward, plenty of coins do well and take a little while to get listed on any exchange, at least we have somewhere were miners can guarantee a return

Sorry, miners coming back? We are still above 1,000Mh/s, i don't think we lost any miners, yes ,we had a pick of 1,300Mh/s but you also need to be realistic, no? I believe when dev deliver the Android application that we can have some extra miners, but at the moment, we are still strong...

Yes, the miner situation is good at the moment. I'm just concerned about the long-term prospects if we don't get on a better exchange.

PoolMineWith.Us finally got our first block!

Block 36418 belongs to PoolMineWith.Us!

Thanks to anybody and everybody that's been throwing hashes at us.  People have come and gone, most haven't stuck around because they see a tiny hash rate and say "eh, ain't gonna get squat here."  Just like the days of the Klondike gold rush... this is what prospecting is all about!  It's hard to fight CoinArmy's 40%+ of the nethash... but we're gonna do it.

We'll keep going until there's no more gold left.  And then we'll find more!

Great right? Smiley we've also overtaken rpc's post count and a lot of their posts are people bitching about multipools... We dont have to bitch about mutipools as the diff is adjusting beautifully Cheesy

Its great to see some big buys on coinmarket, im just looking forward to getting on cryptsy and all the doors that will open (having access to an api). That isnt me saying I know we will, its just probable.. But how long? I dont know.

https://pool.chunky.ms/doge/site_assets/chunky/img/chunky_small_1.png

Hey Klondike Coin thread, looking for a place to mine KDC? Join us at Chunky Pool!

Here's a little more info:

  • 0% fees forever, not just "for now"
  • SSL encryption
  • Custom MPOS layout
  • Support and a wonderful community @ irc.freenode.net #chunky
  • We are equipped to withstand thousands of workers
  • Excellent stability and uptime

We also provide many other coin pools and even have a coin-switching multi-port that switches between coins to maximize profitability!

One account fits all
We have modified MPOS to provide a multipool experience. You only have to create one account, and that account is shared among all of our coin instances. Unlike some other multipools, and since we're on top of MPOS, we offer you complete transparency about provided shares, found blocks and much more!

Pools
  • Dogecoin - port 3333
  • Earthcoin - port 3334
  • RonPaulCoin - port 3335
  • Lottocoin - port 3336
  • Stablecoin - port 3337
  • 42coin - port 3338
  • Digibyte - port 3339
  • Litecoin - port 3340
  • Klondikecoin - port 3341
  • Multiport - port 6666

And perhaps the biggest reason of all: we are miners just like you. We started this pool because we were sick of trying to find pools that didn't go down all the time. We are committed to making a better mining environment for you and for ourselves.

Is the issue with coinmarketcap etc just that they need API data in a specific format or a standardized API endpoint? I can always make an page on my site that screen-scrapes the data off coinmarket.io and makes it available at an API endpoint.

Second article of the blog http://klondikefan.com/le-marche/
It's in french, i'm going to do the translation now.

It's about the market and the price of the KDC. (link between KDC, RPC and DOGE).
And the profit of the KDC.

Thats what i had put it down to but the admin gliss had apparently said he is waiting for it to be on a more established exchange. Guess he doesnt want to cause a wave of people to go to a new exchange which could just shut up shop (I dont believe for a moment they would) but I can see why hed want to wait.

That being said you might want to mention it in the coinmarketcap thread Smiley

I found where the bulk of my coins went:
http://explorer.klondikecoin.com/address/Kz8pr6BdEPATV3aLVeNxJUm1cCTXbuPiET

Whoever owns this address stole my coins and then promptly moved them somewhere else.

Disgusting.

EDIT:
And it looks like he has amassed over 108,000 so far:
