multi-pool is out there

It's a bit of a double edged sword.  We don't have the valuation to support a multipool mining, but we can't get a lot of the scrypt miners and widespread adoption without them.

Well, thanks to Kimotos they can't really do so much vs us. Only give us advertisement!

And multipools will probably do like this for a long time, maybe until we're stable at 30-40 diff!

Network hash rate jumped from <400Khash/s to over 1Ghash/s.  Gravity kicked in.

You need that many people mining it eventually, though.  Just not now.

Yeah but not right now and we don't need the multipools - we need the miners using multipools. We dont want them to undercut every bid just to get fast money!

I wonder what Multi-pool it might be, must be around 2Ghash/sec.

Looking at all the stats now, we didn't really get that much more hashing power.  I'm a bit curious as to how this gravity well works now.  We went from 900 - 1020 in a couple minutes (12% ish) and suddenly, the difficulty went up 4x.

Hi,

I fixed the block explorer, i'm not sure what happened to it, looks like the server crashed. Blockchain looks fine Smiley

Also, the random x4 diff for a couple of blocks is nothing to worry about, it is just when ~4 blocks happen to be found in a minute or less and kimotos then re adjusts the diff to compensate for this.

So we don't need to do anything in our end? just sit here and wait for the gold to come pour down Roll Eyes

Thanks for fixing the explorer and explaining the huge diff variance!

People should start moving away from Smalltimeminer, way to much hashpower there.

We'll happily take any castaways over at PoolMineWith.Us!
