Fork is going to look like this:

Drop it down to 16 coins per block from sunday
and then a month later down to 8
and then in 6 months from then down to 4
and then it would stay at that for a year after
before dropping down to 2

Special blocks we not going to implement, too much risk of blowing up coin and risk to lose existing coins. Thats the reason the fork will be "simple". We don't want to fix it afterwards and have you all download 10 updates.

Source will be uploaded TONIGHT and the new wallets will be available TOMORROW (wednesday) for download on www.klondikecoin.com. At that time, you will see our new website aswell. Seeing the new website is your confirmation the new wallets are on there. We will post an update here too (new topic).

We need to protect Klondikecoin against 51% attacks to, and the question is, how many people will mine when the reward is only 1 per block, so if some multipool want to take the coin over then they can do it. I agree with the 16 coins per block, I agree with the 8 coins per block and 4 coins per block would still be ok too, but lower then 4,mmmm, dangerous.

Regarding the exchange idea. I don't know where you are based, but being an exchange makes you a money transmitter in USA. Thus legally, you must have a license to operate such a "business". I don't know if the smaller exchanges are operating on a legal basis but I just wanted to put that out there.

Thanks for the heads up We're based in the UK, we will only be offering crypto pairs for the foreseeable future. We would love to offer fiat to kdc but thats a no go unless we have the funds to fund the amount of legal help we would need to comply with money laundering laws etc.
