the real life mining numbers dont lie
if you got sha hash power - mine BTC and buy DGB
appreciate anyone who may prove me wrong
do the test...........
Cheers usukan
What you’re saying about mining SHA is impossible, and I question why you insist on continuing with your erroneous statements. If you were to do a few simple mathematical calculations based on the current DigiByte SHA256d difficulty of 3881876,19796779 and resulting network hashrate, you would see that the share of each block award for each 1 GH/s of hash power would be ~.7 DBG, giving you daily mining proceeds of ~403 DGB At 50 sat, that would be 0.000206 BTC equivalent a day. You would need almost 20 times the hashrate to mine the same amount in BTC! (And that ratio stays constant regardless of your hashrate multiple.) On the other hand, you can skip the math and simply remember why “Alt-Coins” were invented in the first place . . . or why people mine LTC instead of BTC, for example. Mining BTC is the least profitable of all. Has been for ages. And if you’re mining in Groestl, you’d be pulling down around 10,000 DGB a day with the same equipment and using 30% less power. The math doesn’t lie.

Thanks but I know sp and his work...i'm using his miner. I have after 24 hrs come to the conclusion that theblocksfactory wont set his Qubit algo for ccminer correctly. It's his pool not the mining. I was mining on another pool and it works great...but like most coins everyone has to be in one pool to get the most profit and theblocksfactory has the highest hashrate .

Is there anyone out there mining SHA256d that can confirm the numbers in my previous post just above?
I mine SHA256 out of my own pocket but power's free for me, so take it as you will... I also mine with around 3TH/s, which is 3,000GH/s and get around 50K coins a day if are lucky. So the numbers shown above of around DGB0.7 is probably an accurate estimate; Actually, my quick estimate is half of that... I don't get why miners still mine with anything less than an S1... makes me feel so badass lol Anything around 1GH/s on scrypt would be deadly XD According to "dumb use" of CoinWarz calculator shows that 1GH/s per day would give you DGB0.013 per day http://www.coinwarz.com/calculators/digibyte-mining-calculatorOf course it's not likely that it's too accurate, but let's do some other math... ~3,000TH/s = 3,000,000 GH/s or, 3 Million of your miner. 3TH/s = DGB50,000 --> coins per day for MY hash power. 50,000 / 3,000,000 = 0.01666666666666666666666666666667 --> My hash power divided by yours, if you had 3GH/s but with only 1, divide by 3. This leaves you with DGB0.005 or, less than BTC0.00000001 Hey, it's nothing, I read a thread yesterday about a guy who recently bought a Block Erupter Saphire @ 335MH/s, he's a damn fool compared to you. That's not all my hashing power, I don't sell any DGB's EVER! PM me your wallet, I'll send you a bunch

Yea I dont Mine SHA, but when the price spikes, Multi-pool jumps on board ( I would assume ), driving the SHA diff threw the roof. Heck, if ya can take advantage of multiple-algos, I wish I could :S

More miners, greater difficulty = Lesser coin yield Besides, SHA256 miners are a lot more powerful than any other miners. To have a successful multi-algo platform, DGB's SHA256 miners needed to be mathematically adjusted to keep a level playing field. Since SHA is hated by many, if DGB would have used SHA's full multiplier power, I'd be making millions of coins per day even to this day. That just wouldn't be fair; when I started mining DGB, the price was tanking because SHA miners were now allowed to come and play. I can do promotional work, I can make this coin's value move north in a hurry; but are too busy to take care of this now, too many projects going. The way it's made, someone who spend $200 on a SHA rig will have the same advantage as someone who paid $200 for a Scrypt or other miner. I kinda envy those who have Scrypt miners since they can miner so many different coins. I used to make 50,000 coins per day with 1 S1, or 200GH/s, early last year, it's just the way the cookie crumbles in the crypto game. However, I was the largest SHA miner after the fork and still one of the largest to this day. Miners are the biggest coin cheerleaders, the more who mine, the more the coin will grow in acceptance.

Hi Gigabit, Thank you very much for suporting the Digibyte network! My Question may sound a little "brutal" but i see in you personal link/website the following. ( http://gigasgaming.com/gigas-gold-2/ ) And with your signature (★Future's Bright with DigiByte (DGB)★ - It's literally a gold mine~!) Can you share the idea behind this? Would love to know what coin is choosen for the projects and offcourse on first hand i say Digibyte Thank you!

Would love to know what coin is choosen for the projects and offcourse on first hand i say Digibyte Thank you! Thanks for your interest in one of my my projects Well, I won't say anything much but visitors will be able to mine for either cryptos, or a variety of precious metals, in a visual interface. To me, it was hard to visualize Bitcoin mining when I started mining, I'm very visual person so I thought, why not build an actual mining game? Not only that, why don't I make it profitable for anyone? So instead of looking at the BitMinter interface all day or what not, it's gonna be more of a Gold Mining setting though and rewardd will be greater than conventional mining but miners can mine with either nothing and/or any type of hardware. Cool huh? Lots of work on that but I have a lot of welding work this summer, priorities first. Gold comes before Crypto... sorry but I'm too busy making history in Gold Mining. I'll make history in cryptos after. I suffer from big brain, small wallet... if DigiByte can go to $1 a piece then I could build a lot of things =D Let's just say I'm not as passionate about cryptos as I am about Gold, so a game has to wait. It's third in line after my trommel and excavators are built; Yeah, I'm a fabricator too :p I need about $5,000 to make that project and spent my coin for renovating my shop. Maybe, crowdfunding could be an option but I'm only one person and priorities first.

yeah me too but................ so why is everyone not mining at the "official pool" digihash? Tried it and price needs to x10 approx before its worthwhile? Why anybody mine DGB? - just mine BTC an buy DGB? Please correct my mistakes? a question,is the officer pool digihash.co fee not 3%? i check the blockchain, the fee is 4%.
Some people mine just to support the network, but last I checked, DGB-Qubit is profitable for me. As I said, it's profitable for me, as in, I am making money over my power cost of $0.11 USD per kWh - why would I need another reason to mine? There is always ways to make it profitable

ok, it was a little tongue in cheek when I posted this before but there's really not much else to it, you just got to keep getting up every time someone knocks you down. All markets are manipulated by someone!
Here, try this as an experiment. Everyone agree not to sell DGB for less than 300 Sat. Anyone selling DGB for less is to be considered Anti-Digibyte and just in it for a quick profit while playing with our ring piece. We buy up all their DGB anyway. Everyone wins apart from the people selling for less. We could go on doing this over and over again eventually pushing the price up to; I don’t know something reasonable like 10 BTC or something. Along the way, our well endowed patrons could distribute some of their wealth to the needy and good causes through the DGB foundation, effectively creating new users and ensuring the propagation of the currency. Hell we could make it the most stable digital coin in the world by just deciding that it should be, if we all worked together. Let’s try to be fair here and say, there are a thousand times as many BTC as there are DGB, so let a BTC be worth a thousand times more. This sets the price at mBTC. Anyone selling a DGB for less than that is ‘Anti-DGB’ IMO! We could then get on with the job of supporting BTC and scaling the whole thing up.

This is not necessary, albeit a very fun thought experiment I've been holding DGB since ages, bought when it was trading at 110 sat (yes a year ago or so it was trading at that) I haven't sold a single DGB. Imho it's THE alternative to BTC. I got my DGB securely locked away and won't think about selling until we reach Dollar parity. Even then, if that happens I'll keep 80 % of my stash. Why? well because when DGB reaches $1 it's already adopted on a wide scale. This is the true "sleeper" coin if you will. Jared is a top notch dev, but he also has PR and networking skills. Most devs excel at programming, but on a social level? not so much. There are other promising coins out there for sure, but DGB is one of the safest bets you can make when it comes to crypto in my opinion. It has a proven track record of both technological advantages and non anonymous transparent development. Sure, crypto might die out and it could all turn to dust. But when crypto prevails I know DGB will be among the top contenders for BTC's crown. It won't happen tomorrow, and I doubt it will this year. But we'll get there, be patient.
