[edit - what i wrong below neither confirms nor denies this twitter post, i think it is fake news, but i have no idea. someone could potentially create their own site that sells games for digibytes and have no affiliation with DGB directly. i don't think this is anything sanctioned by DGB, but again, i am no authority on the subject.] I saw that also. The pump and dump trolls are really going hard at DGB, which sucks from an "as of right now" perspective, BUT... usually the exceptional people and products are attacked the most. I almost consider this a good thing that people are going so hard at DGB, trying to affect the current value. I think that only confirms what i've thought ever since the first time i started reading about DGB and kept doubling down and investing more. Once the price jumped past 600 sats i built a 6 gpu miner and that is how i will continue to accumulate DGB coins. DGB has a very promising future tied into several different markets. One of the other reasons I'm committed to DGB is Jared Tate. Watch him in his videos and see the kind of person he is. He tries his very best to avoid pump and dump news. He doesn't want to inflate the dgb coin by overselling moderate or even great news. He tells us what we need to know and isn't whoring out dgb on twitter. He is passionate about digibyte products and he's in it for the long haul. DGB is focused on the tech and not just being another coin. The coin is merely a byproduct of what they're doing with blockchain technology. I work in the healthcare industry and just one of their products, digusign, could change the industry in a huge way. I can't wait to see what else they get into and sooner or later software giants will want to use dgb and you'll definitely want to be holding your bags of dgb when that happens. oh and another thing... They already have other companies using their digishield product. That is pretty awesome that other coins want to use their tech. Read about it here. https://www.reddit.com/r/Digibyte/comments/213t7b/what_is_digishield_how_it_works_to_retarget/

I don't think it is fake. That tweet comes from the same person behind the Minecraft server.

Finally bought some Digibyte, really curious to see future development of this coin! Is it possible to make certain tools/websites for Digibyte, like this: https://www.dashninja.pl/, which would further help the coin?

All the hype about Digi presentation at Citi sure fell flat - Glad I kept my money in LISK.
Something about Jareds white tie with the Digi logo on it gives me the creeps.

Been playing MineThatDigi all day today! Very impressive playercount so far (been in 80s all day). What's going to make or break this server is its ability to get a general minecraft audience involved. I'm sure admins have stuff planned down the road for this. Other issue is no player-to-player economy established (as far as I'm aware) but that is supposedly being implemented soon. Would be really great to see a high velocity DGB economy on a minecraft server!

I don't think you understand. The presentation was just that, a presentation. The real win was selected to be there and present in front of major GLOBAL corporations. Making those connections and putting your tech out there for review is what it is all about from Jared point of view. He probably had a few people talk to him afterward about the tech and how it could benefit their companies to streamline and secure aspects. This was face time. This was more crucial than people realize. CNBC Business called out DGB by name on air. You can find the clip on youtube. Talk is out there now.

hi, anybody here that can help me mine Solo please?
Solo mining seems to be broken on the current qt and daemon. I've tried everything and I'm not exactly a newb at this. User ReSI tried to help another user HERE but it was useless. I've messaged Digibyte about this almost 2 weeks ago but got no reply yet. Use version 4.0.3 to solo mine.

Nice that you like it. I discovered the version before and that way came into contact with the owner. I have given some feedback and your feedback to the developers curious where this is going. They are working on improvements they will update in the following days also the forum will go up soon. I also think the player count will motivate them to work harder.

So what would receiving an award/price for Digusign mean for the value of Digibyte the coin. The two have nothing in common. One ois a way of sending data on the blockchain, the other is a sort of attention token or whatever you want to call it. They pitched Digusign. Who can tell me where, other than speculation, would the value for DGB come from? Or is DGB just what stock is for normal companies. Cash cow to keep development for blockchain services going? ? Isn't DGB what XRP is for the Ripple Network....--> as in the network/blockchain is handy (the services on top of it), but they coin itself is rather useless. Banks can drop XRP and use the Ripple network as can companies drop DGB and use Digusign...the two are not tied to each other like for example waves on the waves platform digusign service is not free, people who use digusign need to pay service 0.5-2 dgb/tx (Depending on the developer policy). when company is using it mean they need to buy digibyte for payment. it is not only company, goverment for ID, healthcare recording, financial service, insurance, real esatates and many others use digusign as smartcontract. can you image how big impact from application digusign in the world for digibytecoin? 21billion coin is not enought to cover this service. we know only one-third of it is on the market, and mostly held by traders Smart contract use cases in industry and country (remember country) Ok, thanks for the clarification. But what if the hording of DGB's or the more profitable use of DGB's (in speculation) undermines the service to be sold (Digusign). I mean how can you run a service on a blockchain that is either 1. fueled by a very volatile coin or 2. backed by a coin so valuable in fiat that it would be too expensive to use it for the service it is used for..... The service would run much smoother with a new private token (not tradable on an exchange) for Digusign users. Token bought @ the company instead of being dependent on a highly speculative coin with potentially a too high value... It seems you do not understand the concept of blockchain. Try to understand what is blockchain and what is smart contracts Your questions will be answered when you understand I totally understand the blockchain but that understanding does not answer my questions. So please be my guest an educate me a bit more. You seem to have the answers BTW what is the dgb for play and the dgb to mine ratio. Maybe more cost effective to play instead of to mine

Thank you for replying, nobody else gave a hoot. hallo_frosch told me this is not rocket science and that it is simple he has been mining for years. Surely it takes a few minute to post a fucking guide to somebody in need of help and willing to contribute the to the network, ffs. @TheIrishman who probably watches Rugby also, i was having thoughts that the wallet or listening process is indeed broke. I was told to add rpcconnect as an entry as well and this is the problem I have not tested it because i have been side-tracked. Anyways, i will have a look later on, perhaps there is an older wallet which actually works for solo mining?

Also, there seems to be a huge issue taking place on the server right now. Supposedly a bunch of people are duping via suicide and selling emeralds to the shop. All the staff seems to be offline. Plays are upset that this will most likely lead to a map wipe.
