I don't know what you mean by 'government...accepting Digibyte', do you mean for paying for various government body services such as taxes, fees for government licences, etc - I don't think that will happen any time soon.
There seems to be a few altcoins trying to get into Venezuela, it's not surprising considering the astromomical inflation rate.
