The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

Tell me, I made a standard error for a beginner.
Output from bittrex DGB and mistakenly indicated his purse Doge.
At the address of another coin, they should not leave or return with an error.
Or flew away forever? Can I do something?

If you have to private key of the Doge wallet try to import in your DGB wallet.

I sent not to my purse DGB  at the Cryptopia, but to my wallet Doge on Cryptopia
The amount up to a large is 39 thousand DGB
Support for Cryptopia can help in this matter?

DGB is pumping. I bought a few hundred just to try it out. Who knows, maybe it can sustain it's run. It's a good coin after all.

Better to buy coins when people dump it Grin DGB was really cheap around 1-2 weeks before. But big pump and many new people become investors here.

Old confirmed transaction show up as unconfirmed. Not traceble throught digiexplorer?

I mined some DBG short after the coin launch. These coins where sent to my core wallet I had synced up (on my previous pc).
Yesterday I decided to check out my DGB wallet and reinstalled the core wallet on my new pc.
Core started syncing, and showed the transaction history right away. I decided to check my balance through Digiexplorer, to see a 0 balance and no transaction history.
I'm sure the transactions did confirm back then. This is already unusual, but I decided to wait till core has synced passed the transaction dates.

Core has now synced passed Jan 1st 2017, but still shows all transactions (early 2014) as unconfirmed.
The transaction details all show "unknown" as the "from" address, and all transaction ID's lead nowhere on the block explorer(s).
Anyone can tell me what happened here?

How old is your wallet? There has been a few releases and some hard forks. If you don't have the most up to date wallet that might be the issue?

I downloaded the latest core version from the website yesterday.

Did you let the wallet sync all the way before checking things out?

No, but I didn't have to with any other coin. I noticed there was something wrong right away.
Meanwhile it's fully synced and still showing 0 balance and unconfirmed transactions from 4 years ago (which where confirmed back then)

Unfortunately you are not blind.
Not listed yet ... why?
I do not know, XEM has already been listed  Huh

They seem to be having technical difficulties. We are in touch with them to get this resolved.

Cmon nero, don't be such a noob. Wallets have changed but one thing remains, nothing is accurate until the wallet is 100% synced.
Still don't like the results? Maybe try a reindex?
How?: Navigate to folder containing digibyte-qt.exe > shift right click and select "open a command window here". Type "the name of your dgb-qt.exe without the ".exe" a space and then "-reindex", press enter. example "nameofdgb -reindex". Let sync all the way before you report back.

The wallet works flawlessly and I don't remember any forks that would cause you to lose you balance. I also couldn't tell you what i had for lunch yesterday...i digress.

-snip-

I'm not assuming anything is accurate until the wallet is synced. But having a handful of core wallets installed, this one is the only one that didn't show transactions as confirmed once the wallet synced passed the transaction dates, the only one where I wasn't able to check my balance through a block explorer and the only one not showing a "from" address in the (unconfirmed) transactions. Is it that weird I wonder what's wrong?
My post you responded to came after my wallet was fully synced, and still showing 0 balance and unconfirmed transactions of early 2014.

Currently letting the wallet reindex blocks on disk, just because...
Meanwhile, can you explain why block explorers aren't showing any balance nor transaction on my address?
I mean, I know only the blockchain itself can be trusted, not the 3th party explorers. But can't you agree on the fact that this is at least unusual, and worth the question?

Hey bud,

contact support from where you sent from and ask for the TXid, as you can't send to different currency wallets they should be able to cancel it and the tokens will come back to the original wallet. if they cant, contact support of where you were sending them too and give them the TXid and they should be able to sort it out. I hope this helps.
cheers.

Nvidia. DGB has five algos parallel mined and difficulty is constantly adjusted so that all algos produce the same number of blocks. The SHA algo requires Asics but the other aglos are GPU mined. The most profitable usually is Skein.
