No I don't think so....I managed to import this address into a wallet and it is 'watch only' because I do not own the private key for that address
, he should try what they are asking if he has XVG wallet with that same address. Maybe someone has already been able to take control of this address.

Hello guys,

I am a new DGB owner and so far my DGB are at my exchange. I want to move them to a desktop or mobile wallet. What is the better option here?
Are there any known bugs with the desktop/android wallets I should know about? not able to synchronise, wallet offline or any other issues I should know about?

Please let me know what you use to store your DGB?

I use the Digibyte QT core wallet. It can take a while to sync the first time. And if you reboot or turn on your computer it will take a while to read the block index. Just wait until is is done doing that. You can also use Coinomi on Android but the best option for now is getting a Ledger Nano S hardware wallet. It supports Digibyte. Trezor will support it sometime in the future, but they won't say when.
Sorry but which one is the QT wallet?

Thanks

The desktop wallet for your OS.

Try it! From your DigiByte wallet: 1. help, 2. Debug window, 3. console   then type, importprivkey "5yourveryveryveryverylongprivatekeystring" ( the XVG private key, I assume you already have).

I have no idea about XVG wallets but if it is qt-like, from the console you will need to do something like this:
Click on 'help' in the menu bar (top right)
    Click on 'debug window'
    Select the 'console' tab
If your wallet is protected by a passphrase (i.e. you have to enter a passphrase before you can send) unlock it by typing

    walletpassphrase "your walletpassphrase here" 600
    dumpprivkey "DAkF9qw1sMygb6pHZWuhZwTgxSsRrb3uJw"
This will return the private key

Once you have your private key if you had to unlock your wallet you can relock it by exiting or typing:

    walletlock

you will need to open your DGB wallet with the passphrase command too, if your wallet is protected with a passphrase.

If you can’t find at least 'one' yourself…. Then you shouldn’t keep it, you shouldn't have bought it in the first place.

Hello

I purchased my first DGB the end of March 2017 and gave me a big return in one or two month (x8 I guess) but months later I transfered all my coins into BTC and lost it due to greed... (At the end I owned 7 BTC and lost it and two months later BTC touched the 20000$ marked...)

I always beleived in DGB that's why I purchased it again one week ago and it will be the only coin I will buy for now...

I always have been a good feeling about it and I'm sure it will explode in 2018 like it did in 2017...

If I have bough BTC when I heard about it (it was back in 2014) I would have been a millionaire by now... I don't want to do the same mistake with DGB... Thtat's why I took the train again...

And I put myself in financial difficulties by purchasing DGB again I know for sure that we must not do that as it's too risky but I am prepare to wait months or even years before touching anything. This was my mistake the first time I was to greedy and getting emotional when the market went down...

I think that I'm prepare now to take a step back when the market goes down and not selling my belongings anytime soon.

It's a great feeling to know that something big will happen with DGB this year. If not no problem I will keep hoping for the best Smiley

Have a wonderful year Smiley

And sorry for my english I did my best. I'm a native french.

lol nobody has a reason to keep digibyte  Cheesy

Despite the fact that DGB team doesn't make any false promise and that it's a real coin and not a token.

Also the fact that the transaction are really fast and can be used in real life for that reason.

There are many coins out there worth few dollars that have not a real value whereas DGB is only worth 0.06/0.07$ for now... It can easily do a x20 in next months.

Warning: All definitions have just been made up by someone, at some point, so consensus must count.

Didgeridoo:  an Australian Aboriginal wind instrument in the form of a long wooden tube, traditionally made from a hollow branch, which is blown to produce a deep, resonant sound, varied by rhythmic accents of timbre and volume.

Not to be confused with but perhaps helpful for remembering;

JareDigiDoo:  one hundred millionth, or the smallest fraction of a DigiByte!

or

JareDigiDont: currently 1000 JareDigiDoos, or the smallest transaction allowed on the DigiByte network.
If you want to make an expensive transaction on DigiByte, this would be it.

DGB will get to $0,70 or 6000 sats in a near future. It's about time to get near the top 10 coins.
